I brought my wife into your facility yesterday the 16th of December on 1430 Dale Mabry Hwy, Lutz, Fl 33548 at around 1:30 PM and left the facility at 4:30 PM. It was a very efficient and well organized visit with Urinalysis, Blood Work, Xray and Cat Scan. They treated us with kindness and all the Staff was very attentive to my wife's condition and the Dr Singh was very nice to me and my wife with several visits while we were at your facility. I will never go to Large hospital unless it is in a more dire emergency. The write up was efficient and complete, so I see my primary Physician later on today and he can ask for the Cat Scan results as I have all the other results on the patient visit information. Please give my accolades to the local Staff.

I've been here, twice unfortunately... And both times have been great (as great as your trip to the E.R. can be). I didn't wait, I walked right in, and the staff was awesome. Super nice, funny, and they definitely know what they're doing. My room was clean and when they had to do my I.V. it didn't hurt (courtesy of the "queen" (If you know, you know)). I would highly recommend this location.

Today of all days we had to visit the ER. I can’t express enough gratitude for the incredible care we received at the ER, especially for my 4-year-old son. He had a broken lip, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure he was treated quickly and with great care. Despite the looming threat of Hurricane Milton, the entire team worked tirelessly to get us the help we needed and safely on our way. Their professionalism, compassion, and efficiency during such a stressful time were truly remarkable. Thank you for treating my son with such kindness and making a scary situation much easier for our family.

First, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional care provided by both the doctor I forgot her name and the resident physician. They were fantastic and made me feel more at ease during a very difficult time.

However, I did encounter a few medical staff members who were less than kind. When someone is scared and in pain, the last thing they need is to be treated with rudeness and a lack of compassion.

At the time, I was pregnant and experiencing severe chest pain and shortness of breath, which I believed might have been a side effect of Unisom that I had taken 30 minutes prior. After reading the side effects, I suspected it could be GERD.

I was genuinely frightened and in considerable pain. Unfortunately, the nurse performing my EKG was very rude and snapped at me. While I don’t recall her name, I believe some staff members should reevaluate their approach to patient care, especially when people are vulnerable and in need of support, not disrespect.

Because of this experience, neither I nor my family will return to this facility.

Upon arrival I was taken quickly to a room even though I was not in serious distress. I had fallen off a bike and injured my foot which turned out to have several broken bones. The staff were quick, efficient, personable, and caring. I felt very well treated.Dr. Julie M, Joe RN, and Matt all treated me very well and so did the really sweet nurse who discharged me to the car. I feel bad that I didn’t get her name. I see that some people have rated this facility low and I’m sorry if they had a bad experience but mine was excellent. And SO much better than going to a hospital where I would have waited probably at least an hour or two to even get in a room.
And as a word of caution - I was wearing a helmet which probably save me a head injury because my head bounced on the concrete. Helmets are important for your kids and even your self when you’re on a bicycle. On a note of comedy I was so glad that I’ve had my pedicure the day before which I only do three or four times a year. But they had looked awful yesterday and at least I wasn’t embarrassed about my toes.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!! I went for a throat culture for strep, I was there 10 minutes. I received my bill a week later, I have the best health insurance there is, and I have to pay 750.00 out of pocket!! They billed my insurance 8,250 dollars, 4,358 was just me walking in the ER, the swap was over 3,500!!!! I am calling the better business bureau, I've been stabbed and was dying and only had to pay 1,700 at st. Joseph's Hospital !!!! Please don't go there I wish I read the reviews first.

I recently visited HCA Lutz on September 13th after a minor cat bite on my hand, expecting a straightforward experience. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing, to say the least. I was told I needed antibiotics, and while I did receive the first dose of Amoxicillin, that was the extent of the care provided. No one even examined or cleaned the wound—there was no washing, dressing, or any additional attention to the injury.

To my shock, I later received a bill for over $5,000 for this minimal treatment. Charging such an outrageous amount for a brief visit with such limited care feels completely unreasonable. I’m appalled by this lack of transparency and will certainly think twice before considering HCA Lutz for any future medical needs. I urge others to be cautious and fully inquire about potential charges before their visit.

The entire staff working last night at midnight is OUTSTANDING! Dr. Cotton is thorough and thoughtful. My son had an extreme gash through his hand. He was meticulous in the care. Melissa and the woman with braids were friendly and sweet as they assisted the doctor as well as keeping my son calm as they mase sure he understood everything happening! The entire staff treated us like we were their only patient. While the plan is to never have to see them again, I am eternally grateful that they were there when we needed them 💜
