It’s was a terrible experience. Nobody knew if I could have anything to drink. One nurse gave me ginger ale and the next one said nothing to drink. They should only have one person in charge
Of that or both be on the same page. They drew 5 vials of blood and left three of them in the room. When the lab tech came in to draw more blood I asked if she could use the remaining ones and she said no cause it was out too long. When she left she didn’t even get rid of the 3 vials, she just left them there. I truly appreciate the help that they gave me but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The saving grace is when I went to the 5th floor and my nurse Q was amazing. Very nice, personable and extremely helpful. I work in the operating room so I know what it’s like to be on both sides. Maybe you should do some training on what it’s like being a patient so they understand how a person feels lying the bed. It’s a vulnerable experience. I’m not trying to trash anyone but just trying to give my feed back

Was a bit overwhelmed entering the ER waiting room the condition I was in but, had a very short wait time. As soon as I went in the examination room the nurses acted in such an efficient manner and I was whisked straight into the ER where RN Lawrence went immediately into action and gave me the treatment I needed in a swift manner. Thanks to all at HCA NorthWest

The emergency room team were fantastic. Karen the lead RN IS AN ANGEL Things were so good until my final move to my last room.436. Most of the staff were wonderful. Except for 2. Very confrontational and demeaning.

I really appreciate the front desk personnel named Gabriella. She was so concerned with the health and well being of my daughter. She was very professional and kind and had the pediatrician see my daughter who had a high fever right away. She also brought us warm blankets without us having to ask. Very great hospital and even better staff 😁

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital was amazing. I had my baby there. And man how amazing all the doctors and nurses were. They were so attentive. They took care of me so much the 5 days I was there. My baby was taken care of while I couldn’t because of being sick from my C-section. I’m greatly appreciative of them. I definitely recommend there. ❤️❤️🥰🥰

The staff was courteous enough however I will point out three areas for improvement based on 8+ hours I spent in the ER.
1.) It's very apparent that the only way to expedite your visit is to cause a scene. I say this because there were several patients who were 'very impatient' and got addressed much quicker than I. What happened to rewarding those who treat you with respect and maybe the severity of the case?
2.) There were employees who were working their butts off running around non-stop the entire time I was there while others didn't do a thing outside of barking orders and talking smack about the patients. Not very professional - if you have a loud booming voice, maybe don't smack-talk within ear shot of the patients you're speaking about.
3.) The staff should really not be eating the in the same space as the patients especially when you aren't offering as much as a water to the patients. Yes, I was there for more than 8 hours and offered nothing.
Overall not a great experience, but not the worst either. I do want to commend (and thank) those who were really working so hard though.

A few days ago I suffered a head injury and was taken, by ambulance, to HCA Westside hospital in plantation. There was virtually no waiting around a I was immediately taken to a room in the ED area. It is important to note that 100% of employees I encountered were extremely professional, kind and always with a smile in their faces. Honestly, I have never encountered this level of caring from any other hospital, here or anywhere else in the country. I would to thank my RN Jacqueline and Drs. Wilkerson and Marsh and to the radiology department staff for the speed in which procedures were performed and finalized. An amazing hospital.
