I had no concerns about the care I received in the ER. I was well cared-for in a fairly timely manner, and had good contact with doctors. However, the ER suggested that I agree to being admitted and observed, but that experience was awful.
I was never actually admitted a hospital room and spent the night in an ER room. The overnight ER nurse didn't even offer me a pillow, or a drink of water. Two sheets and a gown were placed on the corner of the "bed". I had to use the public ER restroom when needed throughout the night, disconnecting my monitor wires myself. I then had to reconnect all the wires to the monitor, once of which I couldn't do, which set off the monitor. No one came to turn that off. I pulled up the sides to my gurney afraid that I might doze off and fall off, but that meant crawling in and out of it whenever I needed the restroom. The monitor beeped loudly all night, sometimes for a full hour before the nurse responded to repeated requests to reset it. I was 3 steps from the nurse's station. I could not get a human response, and there was no sleep through the loud beeping. In the morning I was moved to the hallway like overflow parking, where I was warehoused until I was released. Several beds with patients were lined up in the hall. No privacy. The day nurse was kind and made sure I was comfortable and fed. By the time I was discharged, I had been awake for over 32 hours. It was the most stressful, uncomfortable night I've had. I hope the hospital doesn't think I should be charged for being admitted, as that would be unconscionable.

I wish I remembered my nurses name, she was so friendly and sweet. The PA was also amazing and caring. I walked in expecting the least honestly, but they did a lot of diagnostics to help figure out what was wrong. They all seemed to really care. I have never been to a better ER. My only concern would be I wish I could get ahold of my treatment team for follow up / refill etc.

I went in because I have a bulging disc in my back and I lost all sensation in the lower half of my body. I have rheumatoid arthritis and that’s a bad sign. I was a nurse for 15 years and had to stop because of other health issues. I told them it hurt to sit and was taken to a room with a recliner and asked to sit and wait. It wasn’t busy incredibly uncomfortable. They kind of ignored whatever I said and told me I could get a shot of medication to help me with the swelling ( which didn’t do anything) and a muscle relaxer and some ibuprofen. Total waste of my time. The people were nice and all but they didn’t listen at all. I went and got care elsewhere

I received wonderful emergency care at the HCA HealthONE Aurora Medical Center last week. It is never comfortable to have to go to the emergency department and even more so if you don't know what is wrong. All staff were prompt, professional and kind while we tried to discern what was wrong with me. They began by ruling out the most serious possibilities until they uncovered what, thankfully, could be managed with antibiotics. Throughout the process they patiently explained what any why they were doing some procedures which put me and my spouse at ease. They were attentive to my pain and made me comfortable. I can only hope that if anyone I love needs an ER visit, they would have as quality care as I did at the HCA HealthONE Aurora ER.

I was taken care of with a great deal of attention and compassion. My needs were taken care of as they came up my condition was regularly monitored and communicated to me. All the staff were very personable, respectful and attentive. I felt confident that I was in good hands and would pull through this ordeal successfully.

My partner was in a really bad motorcycle accident. He had horrible injuries from head to toe. They released him on minimal pain medication and when I reached out to them in the middle of the night to ask questions about his medication and how he was doing, the staff were not nice. We ended up going to UCHealth. They admitted him right away. Let us know that he needed multiple surgeries and did not discharge him until he received those surgeries If you have options, definitely go there not here

They got me back quickly, and listened to my concerns. They did a good job getting my pain under control. They went above a beyond when they determined I was to be admitted and were transporting me to my room, one of the nurses was so kind to help/escort my elderly mother back to her car. They were amazing!

UPDATE:
2nd visit at this location tonight, but I wasn't a patient, just was coming with a person needing medical attention (but speaks Spanish only).
We were checked in immediately and immediately taken into the room.
Katie is FANTASTIC. She works fast and efficiently and is very pleasant and informative and speaks Spanish too.
WE LOVED the translation services provided on video. This is amazing and very helpful.
Doctor was great and super informative and extremely friendly. I am not sure her name but in our discharge papers was a name Lisa Floyd mentioned.
Everyone was so very pleasant and working efficiently, and we got every help possible. Thank you! (I'd like to say we'll be back soon but hopefully not) 🙂

I visited this location last night at 9Pm after hurting my lower back to such degree that I needed to seek professional help.

I was checked in, gave my CO DL, was given a bracelet to wear with my name and was shown into the waiting room.

There were couple people, but I only waited couple minutes and my name was called.

Doctor Brian Morgan was fantastic. Pleasant, nice, patient, with a great attitude. He was just great and had a lot of patience with me while giving me injections in my back.

The lady who brings in the paper for a payment was so sweet and awesome and had such a great attitude, I loved her.

After all i was checked in, checked out and given injection within an hour of coming in and discharged. Fantastic. No long waiting, no issues.
