The doctor and nurses were wonderful! I appreciate all of their hard work and attentiveness. I’ve been there quite a lot due to an ongoing issue that I’m having a procedure for next week. Thank you again to the doctors and nurses who advocated me and truly believed something was going on but could only do so much.

My experience was excellent. Staff were all friendly and clear with me. Yes, my time there was longer than anyone would ask for, yet I was attended to among the flow of other emergency patients. A thumbs up to all the people who gave me care.

service was quick and efficient. Diagnoses was accurate. Recommended treatment was inadequate. Did a follow up visit with my regular physician who added antibiotics to the treatment regimen prescribed by doctor at the urgent care facility.

This is not for me. Doctors treating me like I had anxiety. These ER doctors do not understand that you can be having an asthma attack and oxygen levels show normal. They just kick you out as quickly as they can and then treat you like you’re a hypochondriac or you have anxiety. Terrible 3rd world country service.

I get confused why so many people think this is an urgent care in the reviews when the name of the facility is “Northeast Emergency Room”, has a helipad next to the parking lot and ER signs everywhere.
This freestanding EMERGENCY Room is the best! I was seen here in December 2023 for my gallbladder and received amazing treatment! My physician Dr Chamberlain and nurses, Lucy and Krista, were attentive to my needs, helped get my pain under control, and kept me updated. I ended up getting transported by ambulance to North Suburban for my surgery and admission. Everyone was empathetic and helpful.

Dr Jeffrey Beckman discharged me saying I was fine and an hour later I was having surgery to save my life.

I visited this location the first week of April believing I had a kidney stone. I was diagnosed with a UTI and sent home on antibiotics. May 16th I fell very ill, vomiting non-stop, having back and abdominal pain. I went to be checked again and they did a catscan and found a 7.7 mm stone this time. They sent me home with Motrin and antibiotics again and told me to find a urologist. An hour after I left I was still vomiting and wretching uncontrollably, my heart beat had risen to 140 bpm resting and I felt like I was going to die. My husband called an ambulance, they took me to Saint Anthony's. Saint Anthony's requested THE SAME CATSCAN that North suburban did an hour prior. They discovered I had acute kidney injury, a completely obstructed kidney that was failing and hydronephrosis.

They diagnosed all this off the same tests North suburban had just did. The entire staff couldn't believe North suburban sent me home dying. I was admitted immediately and had emergency surgery to save my kidney. I have two more surgeries ahead of me in the next month, and they just sent me home. I don't understand how one hospital can send me home dying and another hospital an hour later is doing emergency surgery on me to save my kidneys. I'm so glad I sought a second opinion. I had this stone much longer than April and it wasn't caught on either visit. Please be safe and don't go here. I have elderly parents I care for and if something happened to me there would be no one for them.
