I went last fall after I suspected that I ruptured a tendon and Urgent Care recommended ER. While the visit was fast and staff was attentive and kind, the bill that was sent to insurance was nearly $9,000 + nearly $900 for the physician to see me. My tendon was not ruptured, I only had an overuse injury. An x-ray was taken but no blood work or additional testing was performed. While I appreciated the care and this review does not reflect on the staff, the insanely high bill definitely means I won't be going back to an HCA HealthONE facility unless I'm in dire straights.

I came here last month when I had appendicitis. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and caring and put me at ease during my experience while I was there. I can easily recommend and should the need arise that I need to go to urgent care again I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.

I am in Parker Colorado from out of the state for a few weeks. I had something serious come up and visited the walk-in Urgent Care at HCA Healthone. What a wonderful and competent group of professionals. I was so lucky to have stumbled upon them. I went back with my grandson as well, and equally great experience. Thank you so much... and the box of candy is coming your way.

I visited this ER back in March, and the actual patient experience was great for the most part—super kind and helpful nurses and doctor. The billing afterwards, however, has been an absolute nightmare, and I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone for this reason. After a frustratingly long registration process in the ER of giving my insurance card information over and over again to the lady assisting me, I was assured it was handled and that my insurance info was documented. I then started receiving bills in the mail stating that I was uninsured as well as a barrage of letters telling me how to get help from the state with paying medical bills being that I am uninsured. I AM insured, and like I said, provided this info several times while in the ER. I called the customer service line on these bills on several separate occasions to have them add my insurance info to my account so that they would bill insurance instead of sending me self pay bills. Finally after multiple calls, my insurance was in fact billed and they paid the claim in full. Now, many months later, I have received yet another bill in the mail stating that I owe $416 and that I am uninsured. The call to customer service was rude and not at all helpful, but she ended up taking my insurance information yet again. At this point, this seems to be fraudulent double billing activity by this ER. Collecting from insurance and separately billing patients claiming they are uninsured does not seem legal or ethical.

As a medical facility, these doctors and nurses are top notch. However, walking in the door now appears to cost $7,000 just to be seen. I came to this facility with a calf muscle tear and was seen by a doctor for about 15 minutes. The doctor felt my leg telling me to follow up with a specialist prescribing compression, ice, rest and elevation. There was no X-ray, CAT scan, or MRI, no other diagnostics. A nurse wrapped my leg with two ace bandages, and then I was given crutches. I was on my way in about an hour. The full bill for this would have been over $8000 without insurance for 30 minutes of a doctor’s time, about 90 minutes between two nurses, 15 minutes with billing tech, crutches and two ace bandages. Of course there is a premium for ER care, so they can operate the facility 24/7. The problem I see is at NO time was I advised of cost. For my insurance, the bill was reduced to just around $1000.

Staff was kind, efficient and prompt. The facility was clean and well maintained. I’m grateful to have access to such good care so close to home.
