10/05/2024 -I arrived at 6am, and it felt like the staff was ready to leave rather than provide care. The nurse didn’t even bother to weigh me, instead asking if I knew my own weight before hurriedly instructing me to go into the room. She then rushed through a series of questions. When the RN came in, his badge was turned so I couldn’t see his name. There was no introduction, just a curt instruction to take off my sweater so he could take my blood pressure, followed by a rushed nasal and throat swab.

Back in July, I had a great experience with a doctor, which is why I returned. I also work in healthcare, so I understand the importance of treating patients with respect and care. If the staff is not willing to engage with patients properly, they should consider another line of work. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope it’s addressed to prevent it from happening to others.

I wasted my time going to the emergency room, went in with pain scale of 10 and left the same.

HCA is the absolute worst. Annoyed. I’ll never go back. I walk in there’s no one even at the front desk. No one in sight at all actually. The check in kiosk was inoperable. I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone came out and offered assistance. Then they bring me into a room. Missed the veins in both arms when injecting the needles (one for access and another for drawing blood). So one arm swells and bruises almost immediately.

Another person comes to ask if I’ve checked in on a mobile kiosk, so she could take it. It was never even brought to my attention that I had to do so. There was no one present to assist me. I sign everything and when the nurse returns I bring up that it didn’t ask for my insurance information… the nurses response: “hmm… really? That’s odd. Yeah, idk how it works I see ppl take pictures of their ID and stuff but idk”….. so at what point do you look into billing my insurance after I bring it to your attention?

They ask me to take a urine sample. I tell them I’ll need water to drink for me to go to the bathroom. I had to ask at least 3 times for the water in between them consistently asking me for the urine sample.
Also had to ask for Tylenol several times over the course of an hour before I received it. Even after they’ve taken a temp of 101 degrees.

Now this is on New Year’s Day. So the doctor assumed it would be best to give me paper prescriptions because she didn’t know what pharmacy would be open to send it to. Without even checking with me to do so. How difficult would it have been to call the pharmacy I recommended, or to give me the chance to call another if they weren’t open?

Now because I’m not feeling well and I’m barely mobile, I had planned on having my prescription delivered. Since they gave me paper prescriptions I no longer have that option. By the time I’m well enough to make it to go fill my prescriptions, I won’t even need them.

From start to finish they were Inattentive.
Would not recommend.

This was a great experience for me. I had been to UT 3 days earlier and was in more pain than I could stand. The staff was wonderful, caring and competent. The Dr I was was very caring and clear on what the problem was and how to lessen the pain a lot. That morning, I could hardly walk, due to pain. I am now back at work and a lot bette.

I went there at 2:00Am,and was taking straight back. I was given a shot for pain very quickly. Had to have a chest X-ray and a CT scan. The doctor came back with my results and my prescriptions and I was out pretty fast for an emergency room couple hours. Hopefully I don't have to go back anytime soon but I would definitely go back.

Came here to get my daughter some help. When we walked in the place looked and smelled exceptionally clean. Zach was able to pull us back within 30 seconds of walking in the door, he was super nice and respectful. Teresa, the nurse, was already in the room and patiently waiting to get information. She listened to everything I said and took lots of notes. She was very empathetic. She asked plenty of questions. Dr. Lopez came in while Teresa was still documenting stuff and started to get my daughters issue figured out right away! Adam the radiation specialist was always great and made my daughter laugh when she didn’t feel like smiling. He was very sympathetic. Speedy service and great customer service for sure! Will recommend this place

This hospital takes soo long to do NOTHING. Expect a 2hour MINIMUM wait time! They have also misdiagnosed my son twice. This is the WORST hospital in humble! Theyre also QUICK to send you to a specialist but send you a $1,000 bill for NOTHING!

The RN who was taking care of me was Angie, who was really sweet and nice with a very good spirit which made me feel comfortable and happy, The doctor was very sweet too

If I could give 0 stars I would. Night shift doctor was very aggressive with my mother and I and refused to provide his name and threatened to call security when we asked for a patient advocate. (The other nurse did not follow his request to call security.) They also refused to give us a number to file a complaint. The woman nurse was very helpful and compassionate however the doctor was antagonistic and rude. if you want your pain to be taken seriously do not go here, especially is you are a black person. They will treat you as if you’re exaggerating your pain and drug seeking even if you’re there for nausea !!
