Neurologist had major concerns for my wife, and sent us to the ER. First 29 minutes we were here ALL the tests were run..since then
 crickets
no updates or contact with nurses
4 hours later resident neuro wants a medicine level test run for a medicine that she doesn’t even take
no idea what the results of ANY tests are, “follow up with your neurologist” was our answer 4.5 hours after we got here
we left Shannon Medical for this? Screw that..

I have no idea who my wife just spoke to but that woman should be fired and not allowed to deal with patients. My wife had a procedure in the metroplex a couple days ago and her specialist is concerned because she’s not doing well at all. The specialist asked us to call local hospitals and see if anyone has fluids due to the shortage and she just kept repeating that she couldn’t give medical advice and neither could the nurses. No medical advice was asked for. When my wife said ok I guess I need to check elsewhere? The woman hung up on her. If something happens to my wife
I hope it comes back to you tenfold!

Worse ER ever!! I have severe COPD and severe asthma and cannot breath... I just went into the ER and told them I'm close to passing out and can't breath and they want me to wait and told me it's first come first serve... So, screw it if I can't catch my breath and breathe I guess. Whatever you do, don't waste your time coming to this ER.

I went in at 7 pm, I have light head, fog, stomach pain, chess pain, diarrhea I’ve been throwing up and haven’t been able to stay awake for a long time. I went to get help , waited until 9:40 and lost all hope because people who came after me got help. They don’t care about you , they want your money . I walked out feeling just as I walked in, I asked if I would get a bill even if I didn’t see a doctor and the boss said he doesn’t know . Illegal and fraudulent behavior. Please I beg you, if you feel sick you’re better off staying home . These people aren’t human, They are sick.

I normally have a good experience and that’s why I have always returned. Today in the Er triage center specifically, I had the worst experience. The two young blond headed girls taking vitals were the absolute worst. I seriously hope they get their act together or find another career cause ER is not for them. I heard them bother speaking rudely to numerous people ahead and behind me. North Hendricks Er triage center at 12:12pm on 6/26/24 the two taking vitals. Took 3 month old in to be seen and smart remarks along with irritated facial expressions were the beginning. I asked if there was a lactation room or other small room I could breastfeed baby in mean time. They directed me to family room. I sat in there for 3 hours and barely could hear speaker when calling names so I called from cell to ask if we’ve been called. The lady on the phone said let me check to see if they have you listed in family room and if they’ve called you. 10 Mins later she comes to room and said chart did not show we were in family room and to follow her, thinking we had been called. When out of the room she said oh I didn’t check to see if you were called let me look so she looks and says no so I ask to be let back in family room. Was told no it would be better to wait in front. I kindly said well I breastfeed so i would be feeding and they’d possibly get a compliant with my breast being exposed. She turned to the two young blond ladies and asked and without ever looking at me she said it’s whatever if she gets forgotten then she gets forgotten. I said excuse me and she gave a smirk. Then asked if we could be transferred to another Hendricks and was told no. So I said well we are leaving and going to find and Er with kind and friendly workers because that, they weren’t.

I have always had bad experiences at this ER but this recent visit is by far the worst and I am now considering legal action. There was no privacy and I was made to hold my shirt up while still in view of other people and patients which is a big issue for anyone but as a trans person this is extra upsetting. But that was almost forgotten about because of how horrible the rest of the experience was after the horrible 7 hour wait time many of us had. Several patients and their families and myself were all walked into a room facing eachother and the doctor came in and went in a circle having us talk about our health problems infront of other patients and their families. Then when I would actually try to explain my symptoms he would cut me off every time and make up his mind what was wrong without checking a single thing. He wouldnt even check my very painful and swollen throat except with his cell phone camera light in my mouth which is really crazy when they have proper tools available to them. He came up with a diagnosis in about 2 minutes based entirely off his own ideas and without actually listening to a single thing I was saying beyond one word "Dizzy" which ended up not being the right word to even begin describing one of my many symptoms. He even said I had to pick and choose what symptoms I had as if its impossible to have more than one symptom of a sickness at a time. Meanwhile he had no scrubs, no gloves, and was in what looks like workout cloths and he rushed all of us giving us no time to think. I am a very anxious disabled person so this really complicated the visit even more. Frazier Stuart is the doctor who feels patient confidentiality and privacy dont matter and expects you to sit for 7 hours in the lobby to be given a total guess diagnosis in 2 minutes in a group setting. Thats how much he respects patients and their time and well being.

So far I've sat out in the waiting room in pain for 3 hours! I watched people that came in after me get called back to a room!! I'm looking around the waiting room now and don't see anyone that came around the same time. People that came in 2 hours ago have been called to a room!! I've asked and keep getting told that as soon as they have a room!! What these greedy institutions don't know yet is that I have need insurance!! Good insurance to

Overall quite satisfied, was seen in a timely manner, courteous staff, there is one item of concern however.
In a time when the use of plastics is being closely looked at, now the little paper armbands that are used for patient identification have been changed to plastic as well. Is this really environmentally sound?
