They don't even deserve a star, they are the worst emergency team. You spend hours sitting in the waiting room. You enter the room for another hour waiting for them to say that everything is fine. Now I have had super severe earaches for 4 hours and they don't care about the pain. people should do something about it

Absolutely the worst emergency department I've ever been too. Waited for over 5 hours to be taken to a room and the doctor never came in. The receptionist or nurse no idea what she was came back with my discharge papers and was like goodbye. How dare you charge people for this kind of service! I really thought I was seeing a doctor not the receptionist. Get your hospital in order there are way to many bad reviews for you not to be taking this seriously already! I was given a shot in the bathroom, there are people all over the halls, and dirty bloody bandage on the floor. Honestly this is the place to go if your ready to die.🤦

This is by far the worst hospital in the nearest hundreds of miles. For starters even as a kid I have never had less than a 5 hour wait time nor do I even know anyone who has had less than that. Some people are stuck waiting for more than 15 hours with intense stomach pains leaving them throwing up in the bathrooms. The hospital isn't clean nor does it feel like they even have a daily cleaning crew. I remember when my grandmother passed away I was told that I wasn't allowed to wait in the weighting room because it had reached max capacity yet was still full of empty chairs. They were more worried about how many chairs were open than whether or not a child was with his parents for the passing of his grandmother. They lack Sympathy or any care for what someone might be feeling at a time of need. You are better off driving to Abilene than even attempting to come to this terrible hospital. The hour drive is a million times worth avoiding the 5 hour wait.

Never thought I’d be one to share my experience but I need to share this. Y’all please do NOT COME HERE. They are absolutely terrible. Nobody checked on us, no help, no urgency. We were sent home with a major head injury saying we’re fine Go home. Nobody assisted to get in vehicle, nobody offered help to go to the restroom, not even no slip socks. . Not to mention there were NO doctors?. Thankfully we had EXPERIENCED MEDICAL PEOPLE IN THE FAMILY that helped NOT THE STAFF.
Save yourself and your family and go somewhere.

Went into the emergency room after tearing my ACL the night before.

-Long story short; they will not prescribe anyone opioids/narcotics to relieve pain.

This is the 2nd time I’ve torn my ACL and when I was at a hospital in Austin, TX they immediately treated me for pain.

-Long story long; I went in without any health insurance knowing I would have to eventually pay over 1000$ for the visit because I WAS IN PAIN..

What they will give patients is Ketorolac.
The brand name of Ketorolac is Toradol.
*Toradol has been discontinued in the US, but somehow I still got a well sized shot of that.. hoping the Nurse was just mistaking the name..

Anyways Ketorolac has nice range of side effects, including increasing your chance of heart attack and or stroke, and high blood pressure.

I’ll attach a picture of the side effects as the head Nurse was certain of Ketorolac does NOT cause high blood pressure.

Always research medicine before putting it in your body.

2 stars, 1 is for the Male Nurse that took my Vitals, cool dude.
1 is for the X-Ray technician, cause she was cute.

Ultimately this hospital needs more Doctors to help give patients the treatment they need. Nurses should not be expected to treat serious issues that require a Doctors consent.

Seems like this Hospital is cutting costs at the expense of its employees and patients.

If you’re having a heart attack, or stroke you better pray that there isn’t another person having one at the same time because they only have 1 Doctor for the entire ER.

Wish I could give them negative star rating worst doctor I have ever been to. Spent less than sixty seconds with me diagnosed without any other information from me. Left me in excruciating pain. Could not sleep for days which is not ok I already have heart problems and this experience was really hard on my heart. Worst care possible will never go there again and I hope nobody else has to go through what I did.
