I gotta figure out how to make it so the ambulance never take me here. Staff is fine and doctors are nice but the bills never stop coming. $33,000 for a vehicle accident ER? All I had was a fractured neck and I didn’t even get a room during my entire stay and they still stuck a $33,000 bill? Damn expensive for a hallway bed.

If I could give a negative score I would.. this is one of the absolute worst emergency departments I have ever been to.. you wait for over an hr for you call light to be answered. Nurse gather around the in the nurses station and completely ignore the call lights. Whe. You ask a question they make you feel as if you are a bother to them. I will make sure to tell everyone about my horrible experience. The lies they tell you. This place is absolutely terrible... this ER does not care about anyone who comes through here.. very disgusting. I will be taking this to further measures.

Professional staff and great security. Negatives would be difficulty finding parking and when you park in the ramp there are no elevators from the roof level. Having to go down difficult stairs to get to the level below that has an elevator is an issue for sure and then there is no good way to get to the hospital from there. Also the SICU family room smells like someone is storing fish in there somewhere, the TV is not even plugged in and there is absolutely nothing to do while you wait

This is the worst hospital I have ever been in. They do whatever they want. They don’t contact family members. They do not care if your loved one has 4/5 signs of infection if they don’t “feel” there is an infection they will do nothing about it but add another medication to mask the symptoms. Do not let your loved ones come here if you can avoid it.

Shame on the SICU 3 medical team, especially the resident Dr. Adam Mayer who could not care less about communication or family input. I cannot wait to never see this unit again.

It's no good. My family had an accident and they had to wait for 3 hours. We had to go to another one.

Saved my life. Any other hospital would not have been able to do it. They're busy because they are the best.

This is insane, I talked to two customers in the waiting room and they say, “they were here for close to three hours in the waiting room with no helped”. They had sick toddlers and seem no one to cares at all. Case what HCMC, I am done, I will take my kids to children’s hospital or somewhere else better than this hospital after this visit in the emergency room with my sick toddler. I am looking it right now nurses and staffs are talking, and some are walking by and cares no one at all. Patients setting and waiting for someone to call and some just left when no one helped them at all. I am taking my toddler back to my house and treat him since he has been coughing non-stop and bringing him to the emergency waiting for two hours with no help.

Shame on you HCMC staffs specially nurses and docs. Emergency department = life threatening… period

At I:30 am security was very helpful. The nurse that came to talk with me about my adult child was professional and caring. The nurse sat with me and talked about first steps and what would occur in the morning.
