Ex husband brought our 6 year old son who was having painful urination .... waited over an hr for them to tell us they weren't going by who got here first they're going by who they think is worse. That's so wrong. Because kidney disease runs in my family.
Don't ever bring your child here.

I WAS GIVEN FENTANYL AND DISCHARGED 15 MINUTES LATER AS THE RUDE NURSE SAID THERE ARE 8 PEOPLE WAITING FOR A BED! WAS TOLD I CAN GO OUT TO THE WAITING ROOM AND WAIT FOR MY RIDE(WIFE). SO I STUMBLED TO MY TRUCK STARTED IT TURNED MY AC ON AND PROCEDED TO SLEEP OFF THE FENTANYL. WERE THEY TRYING TO MAKE SOMETHING ELSE HAPPEN? .......So at 630am I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. There was no one in the ER, however, a code blue came in, the family had been notified and was there as the person passed. I did not mind waiting as the family was in mourning. It was going on 8am before I was called back where I was in so much pain and could barely walk. The nurse that called me back was rude and did not offer any assistance to me. After that I asked for a blanket as it was freezing in there, I was told no and was given a sheet. It was forever before the doctor came in and asked what was wrong. Once he did they started to go through the motions, they gave me a dose of morphine, 2 hours went by, then I was taken for a catscan and then 2 hours later came the diagnosis. This ordeal was 7 hrs of me watching them through the door sitting around talking and hemhawing with each other.The only bright spot was the radiology tech who was caring enough to give me a blanket and the lady in patient intake, other than that none of that staff deserves a job in healthcare.Your garbage effort got your ER a garbage review! Will never step inside that place again.

I live 2 hours from Hillsboro and unfortunately was traveling through the area when I experienced an injury. I arrived by ambulance after receiving first and second degree burns on my arm. My arm was seeping from the burns and I was asked what cream I had already put on (even I knew this was a bodily fluid, and I am not a nurse.) Staff did not clean the wound, but proceeded to cover my arm in cream using a tongue depressor before the doctor even came in to see me. I had to show him pictures of the wound. Dr was very disconnected and not interested anyway. Dr said he would "get some pain meds going" and called in the prescription to my home pharmacy (which I appreciate, but again hours away). They were going to dismiss me and were surprised that I asked for pain relief before I was discharged. I reiterated that I was hours away from home (and I was in substantial pain from the second degree burns). The final straw was I was dismissed to the waiting room to wait for my husband to drive in from out of town; I used their restroom and there was no soap in sight. Not like it had just run out, but the wall receptacle was dry like it had not had soap in quite some time.

Nurses here are amazing,the doctor could care less. Went in with a bad episode of dizziness, super bottoming out, and loss of sight. Spend 10 min with them ordered all these labs that were unnecessary and instead of trying to figure out what was wrong gave me a note to be off work for two days and told me to get some rest. NEVER again will I step foot in this er and give that rugged Dr my money.

Today I went in and saw Dr Montadher Alwazni. He listened to what I had to say, and offered to rerun test done in Waco ER 2days prior. Told him no, I just needed a steroids shot and a script bc I was out. He gave me those and some cough med to help with that. no extra nonsense. He was so pleasant to talk to and so we're my nurses. Thank you all! And now I'm feeling better and looking forward to my vacation.

Had a scary episode happen while traveling on I-35. Pulled over to this small regional hospital and was worked up immediately with blood work, x-rays, monitoring, etc... They had all results back within an hour. Fortunately it turned out to be a false alarm for me, but I if it was something concerning than minutes would have mattered, so I am highly impressed with the speed & efficiency of this little ER & its staff.

I went in with high blood pressure which has been high for days (150/100). I'm anemic. They didn't do blood work. Didn't do anything except swab my nose for Covid and flu. So I still have no idea why I'm sick and my BP is elevated.

Was involved in a vehicular accident on I35 on Sunday, and was taken here by ambulance. This place was in slow motion with a minimal level of care and attention given. We now understand why many of the locals told us later that they would prefer to go up to Waxahatchie or down to Waco for medical care.
