The entire staff was extremely polite, friendly, and efficient in getting me treated and back out in the world. The technicians, nurses, and doctor assistant seem very well educated in their respective fields and their polite bedside manner felt real and not forced or rehearsed. Throughout the entire process I felt like their goal was the same as mine, that is to correctly diagnose and treat me as well as educate me on what my next steps should be post visit. Unlike a previous ER I was at, Hoag did not submit me to unnecessary testing with the intent to get max $$$ from insurance.

I hope I never have to go back to the ER but if I do, best believe it will Hoag.

半夜胃疼到扭曲爬行，迫不得已来了ER 从checkin 到躺床上用了大概不到1小时，对我做了血检 然后为我注射了止痛剂（巨有效从疼痛度8立刻降到1-2 直到现在是0痛感）之后做了CT SCAN. 医生在拿到结果后马上告诉我了治疗方案给我开了药。没有做额外多余的项目。工作人员都很友好，对我也很有耐心 医生人也很好！医院内部设施很完善且干净。可以感觉的出来这里的医生护士对病人真的很关照（避雷🙅‍♂️foothill ER）谢谢这里每位工作人员🫡

i had a kidney stone and came here in September. arrived around 6:30am and i got in 10 min after being evaluated by front desk. then got injection and got ct scan and several hours later was told by the doctor i got kidney stone. overall it was efficient. i think there are less people early morning, but much more patients at noon and afternoon.

I went to this ER last night on an ambulance. I was immobile due to back and torso pain that I never felt before. My nurse was dismissive, so was the doctor. They wanted to give me IV pain killer and send me home without sufficient diagnosis. I asked for the nurse manager and she was just as dismissive. I heard them making fun of me, as well as making fun of other patients.

I work in the medical field and I know a little about what needed to be done. I stood my grounds until they did what they needed to do. I was threatened to be dismissed by security. I eventually agreed to be dismissed after they agreed to do additional tests. However, I left the ER with pain and difficulty moving and the nurse couldn’t care less.

The hospital’s management needs to do something about this. Most people don’t show up to ER just because. Teach your staff empathy and make sure that caregivers know that X-ray does now show nerves and cartilage.

A well-equipped emergency room, which usually has the equipment that other hospitals do not have here, and the emergency room for hypertension such as brain and heart has the most complete equipment here. The downside is that the waiting time is super long 。

Sarah the triage RN is really kind and caring. The entire staff has a great attitude. Rooms are clean. The wait is just like any other ER. Expect to be here 4+ hours. I been here a few times and the wait is usually long.

I have a mental trauma after my recent visit. I came in with a radiating pain in my back and leg. It felt like childbirth contractions, the closest comparison I can find. I was crying uncontrollably.

Mentally, it was hard to see how staff was ignoring my pain and talked to me in a reprimanding way telling me where to stand and where not to while I could barely exist.

It’s hard to understand why they chose to put me on pain killers and sent me home instead of choosing to expedite my evaluation and recovery by running tests while I was there.

The doctor gave me pain meds-opioids and steroids but they didn’t do any diagnostic saying I need to see my doctors for that. It’s been a week and a half since the incident, I am still in pain masking it with opioids and still waiting for an MRI and evaluation. Had my MRI been done at the hospital I’d be getting treatment now vs waiting in pain and taking painkillers.

These days hospital staff keeps saying they are understaffed and can’t handle the flow of patients.

!!! Shame on you hospitals senior management and board of directors for not staffing your hospitals properly and for squeezing out the money from patients after giving minimal and poor care and shame on you for burning out your staff.

Top notch. First nurse was alright made a mistake causing my IV to start to fall out. Otherwise very nice first of that staff was good. The doctor was great and attentive. My second nurse Summer was really great and very attentive.
