The entire staff here is stellar! I was getting my vitals and I.V. within twenty minutes of arrival. The nurses, imaging, and Dr. Powell all took wonderful care of me. I am following up with a specialist and finally taking care of my health! All these ladies were a godsend and treated me with compassion and dignity. 100% recommend this facility.

I was discharged from the ER and they did not call the correct prescriptions in. I called to get it corrected...... after calling no less than 30 times speaking with numerous people a week later they still couldn't get my steroid pack called in. The solution they gave me was go to another doctor to see if they could fill it for me. Yet they wanted me to pay the bill as if they actually did their job. They never called me back they just kept saying they would get back with me but never did. An er visit is not inexpensive so if I am expected to pay for my visit, I expect my plan of care to be done correctly as discussed prior to discharge. They took forever during the visit. Half the staff was incredibly rude ( not all). The doctor kept asking me when I was going to start weaning my breast feeding baby. I was there for the flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus infection & a busted ear drum and we weren't discussing prescriptions so it was incredibly inappropriate. I mentioned that urgent care had put me on a high dose of steroids and didn't taper off and discussed that I didn't think that was appropriate. The dr agreed and said he would call in a tapering dose so I didn't have any adverse reactions. Along with some antibiotics & nausea medicine. After I consented to plan of care I was discharged and they told me they would electronically send the prescriptions in so I didn't realize they didn't do their job correctly until after I left.
This was the absolute worst doctor & overall medical facility I have ever been to.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You may end up paying to go somewhere else to actually be taken care of.

Don’t go there! Had a terrible experience brining my adult daughter in today. The doctor said he had no answers for us and to go home and sleep. If she want better to come back which is nice, except it costs thousands of dollars each time you come. So more business for them. No answers or solutions for us. Big regret. Methodist normally is my go to place that I trust.

I had such a great experience here! The wait at a different ER was very long, so we came to Houston Methodist ER! The lady at the front desk was so helpful and sweet! The nurse and Dr. Leede was so compassionate and ready to help us figure out what was going on with my mom. We definitely will come back here if needed! Thank yall!

Garbage. No one cares. They don’t listens you’re just a number. Save yourself and DO NOT go here worse than HCA. I’m so embarrassed to live in this city. Supposedly the best Medical city of the world. To NYC at least there if you wait for 4-7 hours they listen and give you better bedside by everyone.

My 75 yr old Aunt had to go to the ER June 28th for Covid. They made her wait 24 hrs. In an uncomfortable chair in a waiting area until she got a room. They wouldn't let her son go back and wait with her but she saw other patients with family there with them. They treated my elderly Aunt terribly. She felt tortured, suffering with a headache and hungry. They didn't even bother giving her some Tylenol. She had to go to the bathroom and when the lady came to take her she perked her up and my Aunt defected on herself. If I had been there this would never fly. I'm disgusted by the lack of empathy displayed by these so called medical healthcare providers.

0 stars actually let me start of with my grandmother being 82yrs old went to the hospital last night really sick with vomit, diarrhea and fever. they told her she would have to wait 3-4 hours. Someone else came in and they got taken in right away. All they did was take her information never came to talk to her or check her fever or blood pressure,after waiting 3 hours we decided to leave. Being an elderly woman and super sick I believe they aren’t doing a very good job being health care providers. This hospital should really rethink of retraining their employees or changing them before someone ends up worse because they couldn’t provide the right care.

Came in with ribs pain when I coughed or sneezed. Most likely a dislocated/cracked/or pulled rib. After being there for 5 hours I was told I didn't have any blood clots and sent home... wtf kind of diagnosis is that? But they are sure billing my insurance.
