I brought my daughter in after a sledding accident. I was scared for my daughter and when I checked in at the front I started to cry. There was a young woman and a man that checked us in. The man who put the hospital bracelet on my daughter turned to walk back to the desk and exchanged a glance with the young woman and she proceeded to smile at his glance, communicating that I was over reacting. This is not a caring or compassionate front desk staff. Instead of just kindly and empathetically checking us in, they were condescending and rude. If you are dealing with a stressful, difficult health or emergent situation I would just go to Stillwater instead.

I have been sick with pneumonia, clearly I’m worked up but no sympathy from Jennifer boklewski.

I have hardly slept due to the fact I cannot lay down, and when they told me well don’t exepect to be healed over night (even though the nurse in the phone told me to go in again) I started to cry. Instead of ANY kind of comfort from her tone she asked me why I was crying and then proceed to act as if I offended her. Look if that is how you deal with sick suffering people, maybe you should get some service training.

So a few days after this event, I had to go to the er again, this time I was so so scared I did not choose Hudson er. I decided to receive help from Stillwater lake view. They diagnosed me with C - diff. Which is an extremely painful and difficult stomach infection. So not only did I not get any further help from Hudson THEY GAVE ME A STOMACH INFECTION!

I am absolutely astounded by the lack of professionalism and care given by Hudson hospital er. If you are worried about getting GOOD care I would highly recommend you go somewhere else.

I am terrified of hospitals to the point of full panic and passing out but I had no choice and had to get possible Lymes checked out and the staff was so incredibly nice and understanding. It was fast and they made me feel at ease and in good hands. I didn't pass out and only was anxious at the most!
I can't remember names but being told to focus on which nostril my breath was coming from was the most helpful way to calm me down I've ever experienced.
Thank you for a great visit! I feel less stressed and not nearly as scared of the hospital in case I need the ER again 🙂

Went in with a bowel obstruction. CT setup was exquisite. Nurses and doctors were great. Would highly recommend having an emergency at this location

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of urgency in helping me get my grandmother, who had fainted and had a seizure, from my car into the emergency room. The situation felt surreal, as if we were not in an emergency center.

I last went here a decade ago for an instance of possible seizures. The doctor treating my case did not have a good bedside manner. He didn't make adequate referrals and instead recommend getting sent to a psych ward.
I later went to the Minnesota Epilepsy Society where I got a full evaluation and treatment as well as counseling for my seizure disorder. I wouldn't trust this emergency department if there is even a chance that they could assume a mental health condition rather than continuing to investigate the physical components of a medical issue.
If I was in a trauma or anaphylactic emergency I might go to this ER if it was the closest, but I would otherwise choose to go to Western Wisconsin Health further east in Wisconsin or to Regions Hospital in Minnesota.

Took my teenager here for severe stomach pain after speaking with their triage nurse. Dr. Massey was very nice and spoke directly to my child. The nurse went out of her way to do as little as possible. I told her I didn’t feel listened to, and I was right. We agreed no blood draw until another test result was back and they still sent in a lab worker that I sent back on their way. Then the nurse tried to discharge us without our prescription or any discharge instructions. She liked to tell me what she thought the doctor would want and every time I made her go actually ask the doctor and the answer was different. Beware.
