Seen for pain in chest. Was not taking serious. I found out weeks later with my provider what they didn't want to help with. Doctor I was seen by seems like he doesn't enjoy his job and just wants the money and to get us out as quick as possible. I have seen him few other times and no help AT all. This ER and other Intermountain Health Hospitals are the same way go to Denver health. Copied my review and pasted from St Joseph because the same experience at TWO intermountain health ER Horrible hospitals. Please don't give me the run around contact us, your review is here send it to your team yourself cause your team doesn't care about me or health of individuals.

The care was sub standard with an arrogant nurse that had no time for her patients. Had not had much to eat or drink for sometime with nausea, gerd symptoms, weakness, I had to leave in order to receive treatment for my symptoms at home because another ER treated me for an infection and gave me meds that I had at home. I left AMA and the same nurse called and threatened me with the police.
I have been a nurse for 50 years and was very disappointed in the care I received. That place has no soul!

I was urged to go to the ER to have CT for a protrusion in my abdomen. I had been in pain from what i thought was an abdominal muscle strain from working out but was told by my physician to be seen immediately through the ER as they would be able to do that imaging quickly.
I spent 7 hours in the ER. I didn't walk in in tears or obviously bleeding and after the third hour of no one checking on me or updating me at all, I convinced myself and fiancé that must have been more immediate patients, it is an ER after all.
This first Doctor to "care" for me, did not even come to talk to me until hour 3. I explained the urgency for a CT scan specifically to EVERY person I spoke with. However, Dr. Lisa Marie Habersbrunner PA told me straight to my face she saw np protrusion, and that I probably had an ovarian cyst pop and that was why i was in pain. I explained my very intimate history having ovarian cysts and that this was not that. She would only insist on me having an ultra sound. When I FINALLY made it to the ultrasound tech i was surprised with a VAGINAL ultra sound. There was no indication that we were doing that type of ultra sound and but I was afraid if i went back no imaging would be done at all at my request.
an hour after the ultra sound, Dr. Habersbrunner came in to tell me she was not on shift anymore and that my imaging hadn't been read yet BUT that she REALLY thought i was suffering from an ovarian cyst burst and then proceeded to tell me how my sexual organs work like I was a child. I am 30 years old and I have had an ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit at the age of 13. I know whats going on down there. Another hour later and I have still not been checked on or talked to. At this point I am asking to discharge myself. I have sat for hours, been belittled, and taken by surprise with an unwanted vaginal ultrasound. At this point the nurses are incredibly apologetic and asking me to stay. They tell me the radiologist has not opened my images but that they have found a MASS and it is BLEEDING. But because it was only ultra sound imaging they don't know what the mass is or how badly it is bleeding. I demand a CT immediately as I have Multiple Sclerosis and this entire experience has been exhausting. I also respectfully demand that the new DR on shift come see me. As soon as the ER got word that i had a mystery MASS that was actively bleeding, things ran faster and smoother. That was the last hour I was there that anybody did anything effective for me. The CT confirmed a hematoma and was sent home as the bleeding wasn't "that bad".
I sincerely feel that DR. Habersbrunner was completely dismissive of me as person and woman, as well as my wishes anything i had to say. I could have been sent home and continued to treat myself for muscle pull rather than an actively internal bleeding. I have seen all kinds of doctors and physicians and I've had all different types of treatments and this was by far the Worst experience I've ever had.

Went in with severe chest pain from COVID. Was next in line the front desk girl didn’t say anything for about five minutes while she finished up what ever she was doing, just said “what do you need” when she was ready. Was surprising as the front desk person, and should’ve been my warning to just leave and go somewhere else. The triage nurse acted the same. They took me back, the doctor came in introduced himself told him what I was feeling then he decided to order an xray. While waiting the male nurse came in, I couldn’t tell you what his name was because he didn’t have time to tell me. He only stopped in to say my symptoms were normal and should be treated at home, I asked about my X-ray and he responded he hadn’t even heard back yet. I was sent home with cough meds. I should note that it was a very slow night. To spend all that money and time on a new hospital but no time on bed side manner, what a waste. We won’t be back.

I already left a one star review documenting the negligent wound care I received that resulted in a bad infection that ended up costing me thousands of extra dollars. I went thru intermountain healths process to get my bill lowered, provided pictures of my wound that was left not properly cleaned and documented that no antibiotics were prescribed by emergency room staff. I even provided follow doctor testimony that I clearly received negligent care at Lutheran ER. Intermountain health responded saying they would not lower my bill because they determined I received proper care at their ER. These people are flat out criminals. They don’t care about you. And they know you can’t sue them unless it’s over $100,000. Avoid at all costs. I’ll be filing complaints with organization I can find to hold them accountable

If I could give zero stars I would choose that option. My son was in a car accident and brought to this horrid place. I have been here for over an hour and have heard your nurses talk about patients. One was even imitating a patient who was crying out in pain. You have signs up about zero tolerance of bad behavior. Your nurses are the one exuding bad behavior. I’m appalled at this shameful behavior. Will NEVER come back here.

I’ve been to this ER quite a few times. One being my husband, myself having Covid (twice) and my youngest daughter with croup. I have to say the staff has always been great. When I went in w/ Covid the second time my resting heart rate was high so they took me back to a room, hooked me up to an iv and sent in a doctor within 15 minutes of getting to the ER. The doctor was concerned for a blood clot. Got blood testing done, chest xray and CT. I received fluids and that helped immensely. Luckily no blood clot. With my daughter, they diagnosed her with croup after urgent care misdiagnosed her earlier that day. Gave her a liquid steroid, chest xray, listened and watched her breathe multiple times. Gave us suggestions to do at home because unfortunately that just how croup is. The steroid helped immensely. We were in and out in less than 2 hours so my daughter could go home and get the rest she needed. They also got her back and into a room to see a doctor within 10 minutes of us getting to the ER. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the ER staff. I think people forget the ER is to treat you for emergencies. Not act as your primary doctor. As far as billing goes, my bill from the ER for my 2nd Covid visit, after insurance was $2,700. That’s not a small amount of money but guess what, welcome to America. Take that up with your insurance and politicians.

Went into ER yesterday with extreme sciatic nerve pain. Mentioned that I had been experiencing for a few weeks and Sunday it took me to the ground multiple times. Still unable to walk or sleep but they gave me some muscle relaxers and methylprednisone. They said they can’t prescribe anything that would actually help unless I want to stay with them overnight, then they can give me morphine intravenously… What? Entire time felt like they were treating me like an addict or something when I just needed some pain relief. Will see my primary physician and file a complaint. If you are literally crying on the ground in pain I guess it’s not serious enough for the Emergency room, don’t waste your time.

Update: Went to Chiropractor and found out it’s not even sciatica, it’s a rediculopathy and my disk has herniated leaking out into my spine. Will need extensive therapy and if it’s not getting better within a couple weeks, surgery. Still in intense pain and unable to see my primary care physician till Monday.
