I went here for assistance with something simple. The front desk was slightly kind, the check in personnel was very patient and kind, but the male Caucasian nurse/ doctor who assisted me was very RUDE! His "bed side manner" was non existent. He didn't wear a mask, he spit on my lip while talking, he told me there was nothing wrong when I knew there was, and he also tried to use alligator forceps before knowing the full picture of the situation. I had to tell him to stop and I had to ask for assistance from someone else who could "at the very least" ACT like they cared! I told him he was hurting me multiple times, he became frustrated and red, then he kept yelling and telling me not to move. Who wouldn't move when their in pain and have something metal being stuck in them? He needs to be retrained or FIRED! In my honest opinion I truly believe race played a huge part! I hope I'm wrong. Just be careful and cautious if you get him!

I have had great experiences at both West and East Frisco Legacy Urgent/ER. The registration staff is kind and helpful. The medical staff is patient and warm. At my most recent visit to East Frisco, Dr. Murphy was excellent. My husband has had a positive experience there, as well as my kids when we have needed to take them.

My family and I have been using Legacy ER for approximately a decade. My children have severe anxiety, and they have worked with us when I explain situations. I myself have been treated there more times than I remember. Dr. Phillips has treated me MANY times over the years, twice catching issues I didn't think were serious enough for a formal ER visit and getting me admitted to a hospital as needed, including last week when he solved an 18-month long medical problem that had become acute that no other doctor had considered in that time. I am VERY grateful for that! I don't remember all the names of the doctors we have seen, and really know this one because I made a point of asking so I would remember. Anyway, thanks, y'all, for all the help over the years. Know that you are appreciated.

Excellent staff! Got in right on schedule. Really was impressed with my doctor's credentials. Dr. Plubell has worked at world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN (close to where I grew up!).
Highly recommend this group!

Came since this was the closest urgent care to my home that took my insurance. Standard wait time. The doctor I saw (Dr. Plubell) was amazing and took her time ruling out what could be wrong. She also answered any concerns I had about what could be wrong and explained why she had ruled each one out.

I ended up having to get bloodwork done that brought me into the ER billing, but they were very straightforward about it and had me sign something before giving me that.

The nurses and technicians with me were all wonderful, friendly and helpful as well!

The only reason I rate it four stars is because after saying I looked extremely hydrated, they ended up giving me IV fluids. It's on me because I should have asked when they brought it into the room, but I felt a little confused.

If it is possible I would have given ZERO STARS for this Legacy ER. My wife was admitted with severe burn injury and they provided a dressing for her. The PA wrote up a prescription for Silvadene cream (20 mg) - which is a miniscule tube (with no refills). She took up a dermatologist appointment (which is available only after a few days). So we called Legacy ER and asked for a new prescription or the cream. The RN answered in a very RUDE and CONDESCENDING manner and said that they would not inform the PA about it. And advised us to use the cream sparingly. My wife is in severe pain and had to go through this mental stress on top of this. I believe the RN needs to have a serious training as to how to talk to patients who are in pain. She is literally living on Motrin right now, being denied essential care from Legacy ER. What a pathetic facility and people!

They “can’t run your insurance over the phone”. Meaning you have to come in, with your sickness and pain, then they’ll run your insurance at the desk and let you know if they’re in network or not. Why can’t that be done over the phone? Every other urgent care I’ve called did it over the phone in seconds. Way to make such a simple thing more difficult for the patient

We had a pretty disturbing incident at the Legacy ER & Urgent Care on Custer. We took my son there for concussion like symptoms. The doctor was very dismissive and said "Yeah, it's probably a mild concussion" but didn't really tell me how to treat the concussion or anything. I asked him if he should stay off his phone and the doctor said "Well, I think we should all spend less time on out phones." Thanks...

We ended up taking him to Children's Concussion clinic to have an actual diagnosis done. He DID indeed have a concussion (which you can test for) - not sure why Legacy ER didn't do this.

Don't go here for sports injuries!
