Arrived for a presumed appendectomy. Was received and processed efficiently and professionally. Every person I interacted with was pleasant and professional. They made me feel comfortable with the entire process. Once I made it to the operating room the head surgeon and anesthesiologist had very good bedside manner and were proper pros. Dr. Han (hope is spelled that right) and Dr. anesthesiologist (sorry forgot name. Brain was not working at its best) thank you! 10/10

Took my wife on 12/1/23 ,She was having trouble breathing from C.O.P.D. When they brought her to the back, she was put in a cubical that was meant for one person hut divided for 2 which was not accommodating she was so close to the other patient they could have layers on each other's shoulder .My wife brought to the attention of a nurse her concern for privacy discussing her medical issues,I also spoke to the nurse who seemed unconcerned and walked away from me,her response was ," It's an emergency room " Well Hippa does not differentiate between an emergency room and a semi private room. I attempted to speak with my wife's doctor, who seemed to not want yo see me and was annoyed.They moved my wife only after an employee who needed to see a doctor and had another employee and a man standing with her and the woman was on the clock telling the woman who needed to see a doctor that someone would clock her out complained to the nurse to move my wife because she did not want yo hear her,they moved my wife to another cubical with the same problem.
My wife decided to leave due yo the poor service and concern for her privacy.As we were leaving, the nurse was complaining to the doctor that my wife was leaving because she was concerned fir her privacy.I attempted to speak with the doctor who seemed to not even want to see me.
Our experience was very disappointing, and the staff seems to be bothered if you complain your privacy is not a concern at all, so if your not concerned about your privacy or people bothered by you addressing concerns you may have than your in the right place.Over all the staff at this hospital is very rude and your concerns are only a bother to them.

Waited over 3 hours in the emergency room , doctor never came. Me and my wife just left without receiving any form of treatment. I came in because of pain from a car accident and was completely ignored. Terrible hospital, with inattentive staff

Local pal suggested we go to Lenox Hill after a mishap. So glad we did! Post seeing the Rockettes, we dined at a near by restaurant,( ILL GATO. P,- ugh) ) where a waiter actually dashed in front of and tripped a friend and she fell, and broke her knee. It was Off to Lenox Hill... We were superbly cared for from start to finish. Great staff...ev dept. And! Upon return home, we had to call the The Records Department, and they were outstanding getting my X-rays and Dr Notes to Ca. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and kind! The woman in the waiting corner singing Frank Sinatra songs was...colorful.
