!!DONT GO INTO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME!!

Absolutely horrible. My brother had a big injury while roller skating. We took him to this exact ER. We arrived at 5PM, and left at 10PM. No one called us, and it was disgusting and dirty. I also saw people on stretchers, and the securities just talked and laugh instead of being attentive and taking care of the patient. Also, the doctor IS NEVER THERE! My brother was in extreme pain. It was just horrible. Babies were throwing up, children were everywhere, people steal your seats if you aren't there, and they wont help you unless your like, i dont know, dying or something? Never coming back. If I had a choice, I'd rate this "place" a 0.

I have been here since 9:30 am and it's 6 mins to 3 pm and guess what I'm still sitting here. I came in with neck, back, head, and adominal pain after being in a car collision 3 days ago. No one has checked on me, no one is listening to me. It is now crowded here and they are not moving. This place is dirty and not friendly. This is my second time here the first time wasn't any better. If you can travel to a different Hospital do so. You'll die before getting seen. Smh

Not good ! Was there for 8 hours 3 after waiting for test results never got them . Left because I had a food headache and was exhausted. Was promised by a nurse my test results were going to posted on MyChart, that didn’t happen! Oh! By the way I’m still bleeding and still don’t know why!

If you've had the pleasure of having Dr Henderson, as you're ER DR, you'll understand my review. He is the ONLY ONE WHO BELIEVED ME. He RESEARCHED to LEARN. He did absolutely EVERYTHING in his humanly power, to help me. HE IS A RARITY AND A GIFT.

Please remember, YES, ER times suck. Especially, when you hurt horribly, feel like death, or are terrified OF possible death. I get it, it can be maddening!!!

I HATE most of the medical system and the lack of knowledge our doctors hold. Especially with the possibility of us, somewhere within our lives, picking up a parasite. There are millions of them. Good and bad. They're on everything we touch, the food we eat. How do they NOT KNOW? This is my 17-month battle with our medical system.

With you knowing my feelings, I need you to hear the rest of my words. Please!!!

When we're desperate enough to pile our bodies into the car and to go to the ER, THAT says SO many words. We go bc we DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!!!
I know the feeling of desperation.

Yes, the timing may suck, and there are times it infuriated me to hear laughter bc I thought they were screwing off, not doing their jobs.

What's wrong with me? They're allowed to be happy. Those laughs have helped me tremendously at times.

THEY help those that need it first and the most dire. Yes, times we wait longer than we think we should, but remember in your god-awful pain, someone may need their help just a bit more than we do. At THAT moment.

If they're horribly, disrespectful, rude without reason, or do something horribly wrong, tell someone. NO ONE deserves that!

Also, remember, they're people just like you and I with their own lives and stressors. We DON'T KNOW what they're going through. So, please attempt patience and understanding.
But when you find a diamond, you praise it like no other. Dr Henderson IS MY DIAMOND!!! And I am SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL FOR THAT MAN and his love for medicine and for taking his oath to the max!

I'm PROUD of him...
I'm grateful he had the balls to believe me! Unlike CMC uptown.

He is THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD.

Actually, every single person I encountered that day, went over and beyond to help me. Not just Dr H. They were ALL KIND AND CARING AND POLITE. They ALL CARED.

And bc is their job, they DON'T have to care. But they do!!! That's the greatest part!!!

I stand strong in my words and convictions.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst emergency I have ever been to. To be honest I don’t know why they are still open. Been waiting for over 4 hours and counting

One of the worst hospitals in all of NYC. Have been here twice before, both very unpleasant situations. Doctors/OBGYN laughing in your face while crying over your medical situation. Nurses telling you there going to relay information to your doctor and never doing so resulting in your stay being pro longed on top of already being there for several hours. Nurses arguing and screaming at each other in front of patients, resulting in you having to wait longer to be seen by them. Very very chaotic n unorganized, will never return here even on my last dying breathe!
