I’m shocked at the reviews for this hospital as it was not my experience. I went to take my sister to the ER due to my newborn nephew having some digestive issues. We got to the ER at 8:30pm on a Thursday evening, the waiting room was very tiny (which is why I gave 4 stars). Kind of almost on top of each other with the seating layout. However the nurses and staff were helpful. We signed in and were seen /screened by the nurses within 20-30mins before they took my nephew to the back to wait to see a doctor. Which was the longest wait time. The doctor had nice bedside manners and helped us with the concerns we had with my nephew. We left the hospital at 10:30pm and I must say this was the quickest ER visit at a NY hospital I’ve ever experienced. We were in and out in 2 hours. It’s a nice hospital tucked away in forest hills and God forbid I ever need to come to the ER, I would surely come back here.

Very busy ER that makes you wait at least an hour unless you actually faint/pass out on them. The doctor I saw also was not listening to what I was saying multiple times and tried to send me home on pain meds. You also have to wait hours for testing to be done. I had to advocate for myself to get treated properly and then the doctor was like oh you were right! so if you need to go there don’t let them send you home. Also the charge for spending a few hours - where they make you wait hours for stuff- is painfully expensive.

Amazing experience. Got there and left within 2 hours. Nurses were very kind and the doctor understood the issue I had and gave proper treatment. Doc knew what the issue was and explained everything in a simple and easy manner. Way better than Jamaica hospital for sure!

I'm very disappointed with the staff here. My fiance was rushed here from 9:35pm with cardiac issues and habing chronic pain, and at this time 12:21am, there's no one available to insert an IV.. I'm overly disappointed because I thought Jamaica Hospital was horrible but best believe I am giving them 10/10 in comparison to Northwell health.

If my own family was dying, I’d rather let them die than bring them to this ER if we have the risk of having to interact with Robin (one of the night shift nurses). Rude, unprofessional, and shouldn’t have a license to practice.

went on busy New Year's Eve and never been to a better ER everyone was so professional and attentive to my symptoms particularly the ER DR and they provided me with dinner. 5 stars is minimum for these people, class acts!!

Called for an update for my grandma three times in the Emergency Department only to be transferred to 2 different staff members and left on hold for over an hour each time. Still unable to get an update. They do not care about the patient care they provide or the family members who try to get an update on their loved ones.

Dr. Lazarus and a few other staff are the gems of this place; they are the ones holding this establishment together.

I cannot say the same about the ER administration, unfortunately, they were extremely unprofessional.
