Horrible! In the past my family and I have had very positive care at Los Robles but I don't think it's safe to go there again. Filthy and with such incompetent and uncaring staff. I was in the hallway in front of nursing station for almost 36 hrs, literally ignored by staff when I asked for help. Finally admitted to a room and most nurses I had were clueless and acted like I was a burden. I was there 5.5 days and my room was never cleaned. Needed a CT and it was filthy there and staff was unkempt and dropped tape on floor and then applied it to my arm!! Left with generic discharge info plus my attending Dr lied several times stated he'd contacted my PCP, only to find out they had no information that I was hospitalized. Also had to chase down a new prescription from him that he didn't provide to me. He also refused to give me his contact information when I asked the nurse for it, stating my PCP had his info, when they did not. Terrible experience!!

The care I received was was wonderful. All the ER nurses and Docs were very helpful and simpothetic to my condition. I can not 5stars because it took over 24hr to get a bed after being admitted. But I would not got go another hospital in my area as Los Robles is the best.

My experience was wonderful. Although, I was in the hall it did not bother me. I was always asked if I needed anything. It was understandable being in the hall with the flu going around, and the new section of ER not open yet. The nurses and doctors were great! Kudos to them!

I went into the ER on Thursday before Christmas and the place was packed. I always feel comfortable and confident when I go to the ER at Los Robles. The staff always goes above and beyond. I have to mention Ray, he was the admitting person/Nurse. The best way to describe it was he was calm and precise about taking care of everyone's needs and concerns. If you have ever been in New York where the traffic lights go out at a major intersection and there is that patrol officer that makes sure everyone gets through the intersection with no problems and handles the ones that get very excited. That was Ray. He controlled the room with elegance and grace. I give him 5 stars for such a great job he did. He the person I know no matter what will take care of you during a difficult situation.

I came in twice with issues that developed after heart surgery. Both times I was checked out quickly due to the nature of my history. I was treated respectfully and more importantly I was connected with the appropriate doctors and staff that helped me get back on track. It's comforting to know we have this important and talented resource in our community.

Overall, I felt safe and confident that I was receiving excellent care from the staff. They were thorough and efficient. My family was with me and were kind to all. My only area of issue was the long wait my son and I were left alone waiting for discharge. We waited close to two hours before we were able to get someone to contact the attending physician. All moved along quickly prior to that.

All of the staff were great. They worked their butts off.The ER saw me quickly because of my symptoms. The problem is the hospital itself. I was told at 4PM I would be admitted. I wasn't taken to a room until 1:30 AM. There were other people on beds in the hallway waiting for rooms. My friend had the same experience in 2023. Had to wait 5 hours for her to be taken to a room. Either the hospital is extremely overcrowded or understaffed. Either way the staff either doesn't know why the wait is so long, or is not allowed to say. This needs to be corrected.

Okay, so I walked into the ER last night thinking I was about to meet Doogie Howser, M.D. This doctor looked like he could still be carded at the movie theater, and I'm not gonna lie, I had a moment of panic. I was picturing him Googling my symptoms while I silently judged his youthful glow. Turns out, I was very wrong. This guy was SHARP. Like, whip-smart, encyclopedia-in-his-brain smart. He asked all the right questions, diagnosed my issue faster than I could say "appendicitis" (which, thankfully, it wasn't), and explained everything so clearly I actually understood what was going on. He even managed to do it all with a sense of humor, which is much appreciated when you're feeling like death warmed over. So, if you find yourself in the ER and a baby-faced genius walks in, don't let appearances fool you. He might look like he's still rocking a backpack, but he's probably going to fix you right up. Just try not to ask him for his student ID. I almost did. 😜
