This hospital has no room for patients, you have to sit on a chair. The doctor will come to examine you and you will be discharged from here. I asked the nurse if you have a room, she said no, this is a small hospital. But I think it is too big The money we give is small or no different from other hospitals In my opinion, they are insulting people's intelligence in the way they behave The head of the hospital should sit on a chair for 5 hours for treatment 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The hospital is FANTASTIC !!
I go to this hospital emergency room because it’s 100x better than Centinela Hospital. It’s faster. I worked in healthcare so considering the population they serving they doing fantastic. Ppl think they waiting but each area is for specific ailments. If granny come in with heart issues though she getting in asap for that Ekg , on a bad day you gotta wait unless u leaking or gotta baby coming. The doctors are fast again considering the amount of people who need help.
Nurses are understandably kind. Some kinda ghetto but I’m cool with that, not crazy but jokingly to lift spirits really suits the environment. TBH
Only issue I have is getting from parking lot to ER. IDEA MAYBE Complementary Valet nobody there to take your car fulltime ( UPDATE they updated this idea and have valet now) . Some ppl can’t afford to ride the EMT AMBULANCE. Taken from door to hospital. I went yesterday for abdominal pain I asked for the help.
Security Worker looked as though I spoke pig Latin. Like huh , I asked how would I get to the hospital he said walk. Walk? .25 mile I said but I need help please … he was like “IDK”, you gotta walk back down here. I ensure you that had me cussin in my car. IN ALL LANGUAGES I COULD THINK OF.
Might I offer to drive the patients in my own dang car to ensure ppl are saved. Shrugs. What if they in the parking lot fallen out & they can’t get to the blue tower, trying to walk all the way back over to the ER?
Better yet understanding the walk isn’t close when you’re in real contraction pain mean real pain. 💡 idea Have ppl sign a waiver b4 boarding and drive em if they ambulatory back n fourth. A golf cart could be put in the budget plz. While offering security to that parking lot. Just an idea!!
Heck I’ll do it I gotta VALID GC overall honestly if I needed real help I’d go to this hospital.

I’ll never go back Noooo! I should have read some of these reviews before driving myself there for pain in my shoulder and neck and numbness in my arm and hand🤦🏾‍♀️ I seen a beautiful Indian doctor (I can’t remember her name) she diagnosed me just from what I told her 👎🏾 she started off with you’re going to hate me for this but “I Think It’s” instead of doing an X-ray. They didn’t draw any blood either , my blood pressure was too high to send me home so they gave me a big cup of ice water and handed me a cup to urinate in. I drunk the water and filled the cup just to hold my own urine for 30 mins in my pocket ( embarrassing) they check my blood pressure again it was fine, the nurse was so happy she said now you could go home, I said what about the cup of urine? she said throw it away we don’t need it and sent me home with a Tylenol prescription 🤬 they really played in my face this morning👎🏾👎🏾 never again!!!!

Me and my baby say here in a chair for 12 hours as I sat here in extreme pain and after finally got a room. I wake up this morning in extreme pain and tears, I guess whoever answered the call button got irritated and cut it off. I continue to try to use it and it was still off when I did get in touch with the lady again who answered the help button, she said oh, let me remind them. But as I sit here, I am hearing people for the longest giggle and laugh. Patients are not sitting here giggling and laughing. This is not my first time here and I witnessed this the last time I was here, literally woken up by the shift change because they were so loud. I don’t know what’s going on with them the last few months, but this is my go to hospital, but not anymore not after these two last visit to the emergency room. . I called the hospital to complain and to ask for help. They transferred me to the fourth floor and the lady who answered said we just did a shift change. You could tell she had an attitude and I’m telling her I’m here people laughing and giggling outside of my door but I’m constantly ask him for help.she said she didn’t sss where I called I’m still sitting here with no hep over 35 minutes and I came because I’m
Having a hard time breathing and fluid is on my lungs! They just need to do better, I’m bout ready to check my self out!

Unfortunately I’ve had to come to the ER handful of times in the last 2 years. Thankfully, everyone who works there is INCREDIBLE! Every single person there made me feel comfortable and taken care of. No one wants to be in the ER, but at least here they will treat you with kindness and not make you feel like a number on a sheet.

Was at the ER for my elderly mother because had a pretty bad fall & I feared she broke something in her arm. She was seen on a Sunday, waiting room was pretty open, we were ushered in immediately and called on within 15 minutes by the doctor in call. I found our experience with staff to be professional and efficient by all the staff from RNs, doctor on call, CAT scan, & X-ray personnel. I was told that Monday and Tuesdays are their busiest days, thank goodness we made our visit on Sunday, all in all we were there for 3 hrs. Thanks to everyone at MLK ER for all your help in catering to my mom, she’s back home with a splint and pain meds well on the road to recovery, follow up with her doctor and ortho are in the works first thing Monday.
