I can't say enough about the incredible care I received at the Mayo Clinic Emergency Department in Waseca. From the moment I walked in, the entire team—doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff—treated me with the utmost kindness and professionalism. They were attentive, thorough, and genuinely concerned about my well-being.

I want to sincerely apologize for leaving when I did. I was incredibly nervous, not knowing what would happen if I was transported by ambulance, and I couldn't stop thinking about my pets being left unattended. My fear got the best of me, and I panicked. But the fact that they even had the Waseca Police Department check on me later just speaks volumes about the level of care and compassion at this facility. That kind of follow-up isn't just standard procedure—it’s a reflection of their dedication to their patients.

After I eventually made it to the VA, I was told by my surgeon that the Mayo Clinic ER’s diagnosis was spot-on. In fact, they said if I had gone straight to the VA, I might have been misdiagnosed. That only reinforced how skilled and knowledgeable the team in Waseca truly is.

To the entire staff—I am beyond grateful. I hope that one day, outside of the ER, I can personally thank each of you and apologize for leaving the way I did. I also hope you received the flowers I sent as a small token of my appreciation. You made a difference in my life, and I will never forget the care and kindness you showed me.

If anyone in or around Waseca ever finds themselves in need of emergency care, this is the place you want to be. The team here isn’t just good—they’re exceptional.

Waseca ER was rude and horrible with my friends situation who was brought in by ambulance, super unprofessional, we felt like they didn't care one bit, turns out he got better service now in Mankato. Go there not Waseca

My boyfriend went to the er in waseca and they gave him a medd for his head ack and he had reaction to it and could not breath and gave him tissue to blow his nose and told him to calm down when he was yelling I cant breath. When I came back to pick him up they did not help him. He should of just stad home with the bad head ack. It was way better then what they did to him at the er in waseca.

Hey if you are looking for an emergency room that cares more about the money coming in rather then then the pain your in...then this is the place for you! What a sham! I wouldn't recomend going here except for a skinned knee....if that!
