I can honestly say that it was the absolute best emergency room experience I have ever had. The staff was kind and courteous, I was taken in the back within five minutes of my arrival. The nurse was amazing, I never have anyone that can find my terrible tiny veins quickly. Not only did she find my veins quickly, but her needle stick was painless. The doctor was great. He was clear and concise with his explanation, and I love the fact that he was honest about medication treatment. I have had really bad experiences with the other emergency rooms in these big hospitals in Plano, so it was very refreshing to know that there is an emergency room that’s close to my home with an amazing staff. If I ever have to go to the emergency room again, I will definitely be choosing this one.

There is NO WONDER why this place is rated so high on Google. start to finish; great care for my wife. Unfortunately we had to take her elsewhere due to her condition and the capability this ER has not being attached to a full hospital, but nonetheless they GET IT. Great people doing the best with what they have access to

I'm no good at names so I'll describe every one, first off the front desk lady was really nice and sweet not a lot of medical offices have front desk like that there was also a dark haired nurse in the back who made sure I was comfortable and brought me some warm blankets and the Dr's head nurse was really knowledgeable and answered the question I was about to ask her. All the staff was great!

Went to location in West Plano off Legacy. Got in quick. They were not able to tell me cost, just that they will bill insurance. I was asked my height and weight and not checked. I went in with possibly blown ear drum. Nurses were very friendly. Just not happy about not knowing cost before I let them see me. Had been sick for 2 days and doc diagnosed with bronchitis. I went there at 10pm so I would avoid hospital visit and long wait times.

I was trying to cut meat off a turkey leg with a steak knife but I was a ding-a-ling and cut towards my left hand and the steak knife won and I ended up needing to get stitches from Medco ER.

The staff were fantastic, very caring and concerned for me. Dr Lee did a fantastic job with applying the numbing medication via a very thin needle into my vein and then stitched my hand with precision and accuracy . He was funny as well so he kept me from being uptight about my hand.

If you need emergency room care, I highly recommend Medco ER in Plano Texas…

Thorough exam by doctor. Treatment & referrals provided to me for specialty follow-up. Facility personnel were professional & explained my medical plan clearly. Hoping I feel better in a couple days. Visited Medco ER about 3 times in last 3 years with no insurance. All good experiences. Went back few days ago with my mom to get checked out for a persistent cough & sore throat. Lauren, the non friendly front desk lady, tells me it will cost me $1800 to get checked out.

So I ask why would it cost that much? I have been here before with no insurance & there is a base price of like $250. She says well we will have to run a series of tests & will cost $1800. I have her look at my previous visits & she did. She clearly saw that in the past I have came here for similar symptoms & it didn't cost over $400.. So why are telling me today it will cost me $1800. She was not friendly & a bit uncooperative in explaining things.
My mom was there with me to get seen for her symptoms & she has insurance & she had problems with Lauren too. Telling my mom that even with her insurance it would cost her like $500 to get seen for a cough & sore throat.. Seriously !!!

So we went to 'Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care' down the street. We both got seen in about 30min, got a prescription, & we were on our way. I only paid $170 with no insurance & they even have a cool app you can check-in with from you phone. Simple & easy
Mom got seen with her insurance & didn't pay a thing.

I wont be back to MedCo ER.

I went to this ER for chest pain and back pain that was severe. I was almost immediately taken back to a room where the staff performed tests and ruled out any serious condition. Each staff member was personable, kind and caring. The provider Dr. Swami took time to listen to all of
My concerns and answer every question I had. 5-star experience all the way around. The nurse that helped me through the night was absolutely incredible and she helped but all my fears to ease. I would highly recommend this ER
