I thought I was just sick with the "stomach bug or flu". Well it turns out I was in such a bad shape they got me in and in and took amazing care of me. Didn't judge me just helped me like how ALL ER/Urgent Care should be. Staff was amazing and tender. I will definitely be coming back here over any urgent care who wanted payment up front without even seeing you and denied seeing you.

Wow! Honestly best experience we've had with both an ER and an ICU. Unfortunately my wife has significant chronic conditions that have resulted in ER visits and ICU stays at most area hospitals. Without question, this was the best experience. Excellent communication and respect from nursing staff, physicians and all support staff. Hope to never need these services again but this will be our destination if that does occur.

While visiting family in Dallas my mother got sick and we had to take her to Medical City Frisco ER. They were able to triage her quickly and within 15 minutes she had labs drawn and a IV started getting fluids .Shortly after that we saw a physician and within the first hour of being there she had a CT ordered and had got pain meds for the severe stomach pain she was in. She did have to get admitted for observation and we had a room ready in one of the towers within a hour and a half of being there The amazing care my mother received didn't stop at the ER it continued once she was admitted to the floors and continued throughout her duration of being there. I highly suggest Medical City Frisco for any and all medical needs for you or your loved ones. I want to say Thank you Medical City Frisco ER and Hospital staff for the wonderful work you all do.

From the moment I arrived in the ambulance everyone was professional, punctual and pleasant. The nurses who took care of me during registration were very attentive. I was terrified. They were confident and reassuring. Thank you to them all.

I just left from seeing MD Lauren Dawn and I couldn’t feel less heard right now. I completely wasted my time because I know I’ll end up back in the ER.

I came in for an eye infection. I have a painful bump under my swollen eye at the bottom (inside of my eyelid)
Upon entering, the nurse Alex took my vitals and asked me what was bothering me. I wasn’t cut off or anything like that. She listened and sympathized with me. Then MD Lauren Dawn came in and looked at my eye and told me to put warm compresses on it. As I’m explaining to her that this has happened before with the same eye, but at the top, years ago, she cuts me off. I had to keep talking for her to actually listen because she literally wasn’t trying to hear me at all. So finally I got a chance to tell her that this has only happened ONCE in my life before and it was a few years ago. I told her how the doctors also told me just use warm compresses and that it would go away in a few days. But it ended up staying for years, almost 2 1/2. It kept coming back every couple of days. Until one day I had a uti (totally unrelated) and was prescribed something for it. And that’s when I realized that the bump on my eye had finally went away. She told me well I send you home with an ointment (for a huge bump INSIDE of my eye) she sent me home with an OINTMENT. The nurse even tried to talk to her; she still said no.

Thing is, I am 32. I am not a child. And I know my body. I know what will happen because like I said this happened once before.

She came in and stayed in the room for probably a total of 45 seconds and didn’t listen to me at all. I’m literally in tears on the way home. I do feel like I was a victim of racism. I really do not like to do the whole race thing but that’s exactly how I feel right now. I feel like I was totally disrespected and discarded. I never want this doctor treating me again. If so, I will gladly choose another hospital. I will also tell everyone about her so they don’t face the same hurtful situation I just faced right now.

She needs an investigation into her. People die at the hands of careless hands of Doctors like MD Lauren Dawn.

BSN RN ALEX WAS THE SWEETEST and went over and beyond.

Rn Alex was the only one who displayed any morals or empathy.

Then I asked for a number to a complaint line and my initial answer(from Charge nurse Michelle) was not right now and it will be MAILED TO ME. So I said I will not leave until I get that number. I’m waiting on that now. Will come back to update. They sent in nurse supervisor Fieldon.

Update: they sent in nurse supervisor Fieldon instead. She advised me that Dr Jordan Bell would be notified. I also told them I would leave a review so someone could reach out to me for sure.

Thanks Nurse Alex! You were AMAZING! You are the only reason I would even give this hospital a chance again.

I was pretty incoherent when I arrived by ambulance but felt very well attended to and was relieved to be admitted to the hospital for additional care and tests. The nurses and doctor explained everything they were doing which easily gained my trust and confidence in their care for me.

Excellent service!! My son had a broken clavicle late in the evening. We arrived and within minutes he was taken in for vitals and peocided with a room. The x-rays were taken quickly and the attending physician explained the results with the staff providing information on follow-up doctors and scheduling assistance. Thank you very much for everything!!

The ER is very professional and acted swiftly. I went to X-ray and immediately was consulting with the surgeon and whisked off to the OR. The 2nd floor staff is very patient and kind. Ms. Sheena, Lesley, Valerie and others are very kind and professional. Medical City Frisco is above and beyond in every way. Thank you so much for the life saving measures. Dr. Shea is excellent and explains every aspect of my case thoroughly. Highest regards. The anesthesiologist was visibly angry that he had to care for me. I didn't appreciate that but I didn't let it overshadow the kindness and great care. This is the 3rd time that I've been a patient in the past three years and all of my experiences have been exceptional.
