BEST ER experience I have ever had!!!!!!! And I dont write reviews often! I went to the to the hospital for shortness of breath and ended up having to stay for asthma/pneumonia. From the moment I walked in the ER doors I was quickly taken back and seen. The entire ER staff was VERY attentive from the lab techs, to the nurses, to the doctors. The doctor even took the time to not only explain but even draw it out on paper to show what was happening in my lungs in a way a non medical person could understand. I was experiencing a low blood sugar event and was transported to Medical City by ambulance. Once I arrived, I received food and orange juice. My blood sugar was checked every 20 minutes until it was higher than 59. Arriving at 8 am. I was discharged at noon. I was treated with respect and consideration. When I returned home, I ate small meals and checked my sugars to maintain a good count. I have had no repeat events.

Everyone was very courteous and professional from the time we arrived until I was admitted to the hospital. They each one seem to have a heart for what they are doing and a love for people. I was kept informed of what they were doing and why.

To summarize… We brought in our 2 year old who had fractured their arm. 6/6:30pm is when we checked in. They got us checked in fairly quickly but once we were brought back into a room, everything else went down hill. They had to retake our son’s X-rays 3 different times, he wasn’t fidgety they just kept requesting a retake of photos. Each time we had to wait an hour in between. It got to the point my husband and I decided we needed to leave to get our son seen quicker elsewhere, and on our way out the door the doctor heard we hadn’t been given a diagnoses still. They informed us that the previous PA on shift was supposed to pass along the diagnoses and never did. To add to it, the nurses failed to let the doctor know we were waiting all that time and despite the drs orders to splint the arm, we for some reason had to wait another hour before we found the dr again and he redirected the nurse once more to splint the arm. The nurses were sweet, however, the urgency and bedside manners we received were lack thereof. Everything was highly unorganized. What should’ve been a 2-3 hour visit, was twice as long. All whilst my toddler sat in excruciating pain. 6 hours total from check-in to check-out. We will not be going back here in the future.

The staff was very nice and very helpful. Early in the morning laying in a room, I had a issue that caused me to have panic attack . The nurse came in and comed me down. She was great 👍

What an amazing hospital!!! We’ve been here twice now for my 3 year old son’s ear infections, and BOTH times they were so attentive, fast, and kind. Our last visit was a false call, and he was sent home with a card all the nurses signed. I’ve never experienced so much kindness and efficiency at a hospital before. My son actually loves coming here.

Like many of times before when I have had to go to the er a lot of times I see a PA who I think he name is JD, I always leave the the er feeling the same as when I came in. This I came in for not being able to breathe very good and chest pain and pressure. Yes he did run some test and did a chest x-ray, which showed nothing major (which is great) but left the same way and said to wait 3 days till I could in with PCP. He did not even do an exam. Didn't listen to my lungs or anything. He sat across the room in a chair and that was it. My PCP said he should of done a breathing test, treatment. I don't if it allowed but next time I will refuse to see him or go somewhere else.
