Awful staff, loud, unprofessional, no empathy for their sick patients, employees act like fools speaking to each other. They yell the patients name and then sometimes very low, if you don’t hear your name (possibly your in the restroom) they bypass you and never call you again until you inquire, what do they think you left with a port in your vein? Also lost my friend’s blood vial and had to get drawn a second time. I told them this is why you have 2 points reviews on Google. Also no assistance physically handling patients, I saw a patient pulling her luggage while pushing the hospital equipment that carry’s the IV bag into the back room while staff just walked in front of her, this patient was having tremors and very weak….. if you can avoid this Emergency room/hospital please do so. I did ask the ambulance to bring my friend to her hospital of choice but they said they couldn’t as they had to go to the nearest….. I call that BS too. The waiting room is filthy and the bathroom is as well. I felt sorry for all the patients in that room. God have mercy on them.

It's no ER it's a torture chamber. The ambulance brought me here and after EKG they put me in a waiting room where I spent the next six hours. I asked the personnel why when I was in my local urgent care it usually took me less than 1 hour total. Why is "emergency" so slow. They told me some people were waiting over 10 hours! How does this information help me? Definitely it shouldn't be like that. Another issue was with IV. I noticed that it didn't work because they forgot to open something I asked the receptionist for help, and he said someone will help me soon. I was waiting over 30 minutes and no one came to help and I just stopped a nurse and asked her, thank God she's very nice and polite and she helped me

Update
Total bill is $8000 it's like $1k per hour in the waiting room
I owe $3000
I already submitted the grievance

Came with my husband to the emergency room today. His not feeling good at all. I am very disappointed with the nurses being so loud and laughing loud. No respect for the patients and their time of discomfort. I know if it was one of there family members they would want the same respect I’m asking for.

Worst emergency room most unorganized staff no one knows what’s happening with the patients. Asked nurse to take out the iv and she cut off wrist band and took patient out of the system before they could do discharge papers and get their prescription! Absolute waste of time and no help at all better off staying home… where you’re at least semi comfortable rather than sitting in uncomfortable ass chairs to get no help at all!

To all : It can be frustrating when a facility is not providing prompt service, especially when there are no other patients in the waiting room. It's disappointing that instead of providing assistance immediately, the staff's first concern is with billing. This is an issue that the hospital should address in order to improve the overall patient experience and ensure that medical services are provided in a timely and efficient manner. It is important for medical facilities to prioritize patient care and provide the necessary services without making patients feel like they are being rushed through the billing process.

This experience happened back in July, the day Beryl was to come through. I had laser eye surgery on June 12th. I noticed something wasn't right on this day in July. I could tell, from the symptoms that my retina was trying to detach. I checked in at 8pm, I tried to tell them what was going on yet they insisted that I go through testing to make sure I'm not having a stroke or heart attack. I had no signs of either. As I finished the CT scan on my brain, ekg, etc I dat in a full waiting room of at least 50 people, some vomiting on the floor, screaming in pain, it was horrible. They let sick people sit there for hours. Side note. There's no eye doctor on call. Anyway as the night progressed and I continued to sit in the waiting area, a Dr. Finally comes out at 5am to tell me that my scans came back normal, that it must be an isolated eye issue---AS I HAD SAID WHEN I ARRIVED to go to my eye doctor once the hurricane blows through. So $20,000 and 9 hours later that was my diagnosis. Why not tell me at the beginning to go to the med center where there is an eye doctor on call. I'm fine now...had retina surgery. A wwek later But next time I need an ER I'll make sure not to go there. Oh....and lady that inserted my IV needs to go back to the CNA school or wherever she got her education and learn how to put the IV in. My arm was bleeding. God help anyone that goes there.

I am here now. Came in this morning, I couldn’t stand, they helped me complete check-in. They were nice from the check-in ppl all the way in the ER room. Nothing but kindness & getting the job done 2 get me back on the road 2 FULL RECOVERY.
My nurse was Xavier and my doctor in ER was Dr. Elliot. I would definitely recommend this ER because they go ABOVE AND BEYOND 4 us.

Sitting here due to my husband having an injury at work . There was a man we sat across of that was in excruciating pain and groaning pleading for help unable to sit still. The "triage nurse" or whoever the rude inconsiderate no passion for her job nurse was told the man "I can not help you you're being too loud and I have a headache, one song from you and im bringing you BACK to the front!" well hun maybe this isn't the job for you newsflash it's a HOSPITAL! Maybe a quiet funeral home would be better ! No wonder why this hospital has a high death rate. Please don't go to school to work in nursing if you don't have a passion for helping people and only there for a check ! Last few times I been here I have been in complete disgust, this will definitely be my last time !
