I had to visit the ER last night, and even though it was extremely busy, the entire staff was incredible. From the front desk to the techs, nurses and doctor, everyone worked so hard, remained thorough, and treated patients with kindness and compassion! They truly don’t get enough credit for what they do, especially during such a busy season. I can’t imagine how tough their job must be, yet they handled everything with professionalism and care. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication!

Clearly a very busy emergency department - the wait to get back was over an hour. All of the nurses that I encountered in triage though were very friendly and doing their best with how busy it was. Once back in a room clearly the doctors and nurses were all very busy as well, but they were very caring and determined to fully understand what was going on. For an ER experience, it was very good and I feel confident in their diagnosis and feel much better.

I already appreciate the team over at Mercy Hospital ED. My dad is not one of those easier patients to deal with. The team had lots of patience with him. They communicate very well with him and give him time to process as he is also a dementia patient. The doctors make sure we were updated and notify effectively about every step and process that were being put in place.
When you go to a hospital and you are distressed, and you are sad and you are frustrated, the service we received is exactly what a person Will need to help them calm down and know that they’re in good hands. Thanks to Mercy Hospital ER team!

Zero stars if I could. I got there at 9:21. Still was not seen by 2:30. Was told they have no idea when I might be seen. 5 hours in an ER when your sick is ridiculous. You need to fix your ER, and your crabby nurses!

Quit paying people to write these "good" reviews. Your a sick hospital system that cares about 1 entity only! "The insurance company"!

Horrible experience. Poorly run. Unorganized. Not properly staffed. A woman was there since 9am and it was 2 she was yelling. I came in an ambulance not being able to breathe and got dropped off in the lobby and was told they'll get to me when they could and it could be hours. So i left and went to an urgency room that got me in immediately. It was like a circus there. STAY AWAY

I would agree with the majority of the posts. Both campuses emergency rooms are subpar. The owner continues to use the same responses to the patients and nothing changes.( Definition of insanity!) If you allow this culture from the employees this will continue… and it has! The healthcare system in the United States used to be number 1. Not any longer! Do better and be better! It seems to go on deaf ears though!

The wait is excessive but all the staff treated me like their only patient. Positive attitudes, smiles, and gentle hands. They know their jobs and do it well.
