Dirty curtains, rusted IV poles, an open Sharps container and wandering lost and confused staff. Honestly this had to be one of dingiest ER"s we have ever been to. We were placed in the back of the ER in what appeared to be two tiny curtained off areas labeled C1 and C2. While walking through the ER to the back we felt like we were walking through a storage room/abandoned ER there was so much clutter all over the hallways. Very disorganized. The area we were led to looked like two old closets fitted with curtains in the front literally at the furthest end of the ER. Ironically labeled C1 and C2 (Closet 1 and Closet 2 in my mind) The privacy curtains looked like they haven't been washed or replaced in some time covered with dirt, blood or some other foreign substance. Workstations were cluttered with junk, various equipment pieces bunched together out of place. Literally felt like a storage area. The nurse brought over meds syringes and the portable workstation then wandered off for 5 minutes leaving a syringe stuck in the medicine bottle, vials of medicine unattended and the computer unlocked with PHI displayed. Keep in mind there are children around. When she came back we realized she was looking for an IV pole. She pulled up a very old wheelchair from the pile of junk with a very rusted IV pole and used it. To make matters even worse when they went to get the patient in the next closet for an ultra sound they kept knocking into the wheel chair and moving the IV pole around. The staff also seemed to be losing patients or not knowing where they were. Twice radiology took patients for X-rays and an ultrasound, then another nurse would come looking for them. They had no idea where they were assigned to and would call out their name a couple of times and then last name. I eventually told one nurse where they took one of them. By the time we left we knew patients first and last names, date of births and what they were getting done more than the poor staff did. It was all quite an experience. One other thing I noticed as I turned around there was a sharps container that was open on the wall with blood spatter on it. The back area also appeared to be using cubicle dividers to separate patient areas. It seems they tried to use every square inch of a building for patient areas of once what was probably the back offices of the ER. To summarize it felt like we were in a very disorganized poorly thought out back end of the ER that wasn't well maintained and certainly not in a normal ER. It seems profit over quality is the rule of the thumb here. Patient coordination could be better controlled. The staff were very friendly, professional not as efficient as they could be if there was better organization and better equipment available to them. Oh and fix the clock, it was 4:15 the whole time we were there. 🙄

Great and easy to get into security for both emergency and the East entrance they were very nice. During the emergency room the nurses did take a bit but you just need to communicate with them to make the process faster. For the East entrance nurses they were polite and gave us the information we needed and overall everyone was helpful. Thank you!

Went to this hospital at 9:15 am. She was in ER room around 10am. I went there to see her and a PA doctor review the all the test the were done for my wife. And she told her around 1:20pm the she was admitted. 2 hours later another worker came and told my wife that the doctor talked with her gynecologist ( that my wife only make an appointment with her to see her for the first time on dic 16) the my wife is not need to be admitted. BULL... An hous pass by and a pharmacy gay came and ask about the medicine she takes. After that an old lady ( the person to register to be admitted) came and my wife ask her about a medicine she got for the pain the PA doctor gave it was good for her pain. Then she went out and was telling the nurse about that my wife was asking for that medicine and then I saw the nurse talking with the doctor PA ( that never see my wife again). And with almost 12 minutes an old gynecologist Dr came and star taking . He was so old that he couldn't pronounce the words and forget the name of the medicine. So my wife was discharged . My wife was 9 hours and 22 minutes for nothing. This hospital is only a money eater. They don't Care. Even all the staff that work there they don't care about sick people they conversation is asking each other how old are you or something else. DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME GOING TO THAT HOSPITAL. AND BESIDE THAT THE DOCTORS LIES WHEN THEY WRITE THEIR REPORT. INSTEAD TO BE NAMED BAY CARE SHOULD BE NAMED HOW CARE

Waited for over 2 hours with a broken arm. Every single employee was rude. When asked when my mother would be seen they had no idea. Waiting room was cold and dirty.

Was just reminded about the ridiculous experience I had at this facility.

My wife brought me to the ER, because I was having a hypertensive episode and panic attack, due to what eventually turned out to be my first bad reaction to a food allergy.

The people at intake treated me like a junky. The nursing staff seemed to be offended at my existence, as I recall basically being thrown onto the cart and my arm torqued inhumanely, as they set the pick line.

While barely lucid, I had to repeatedly assure them that "I didn't take anything", to which they scoffed and made faces to each other, as if they simply just knew what was the cause of my condition.

I didn't get any real civility until their tox screen came back that there was nothing illicit in my system, at which point they just wanted to rush me out, as quickly as possible.

At the time, I was so worried about what was happening to me. I asked the attending doctor for some sort of assurance (likely something variable unreasonable at the time)... he mocked me.

Ultimately, I've made sure to tell everyone that matters to me to avoid this facility for years. I've never been so disrespected in my life. I served my country for years, completed multiple degrees, and provide financial systems consulting for the largest tourist attraction on Earth... but at this ER they saw me and said, "Yeah, that's an obvious user." Smh. I hope to God that attrition has made it a better place by now.

This hospital sucks, I came in with chest pain and abdominal pain with my blood pressure being 170/120 I waited here 3 hrs before going to the back again they give me what I have already taken at home, I explained I’m in pain and wouldn’t even give be a nausea pill or in my IV. I asked to leave AMA once I got out of my room I went to sit outside to wait for my ride and this girl brings 2 security officers outside and they told me to leave the property I was doing nothing wrong and they said since I left AMA that I couldn’t be on the property. To think any of the doctors or staff cares. They are doing this for the money not the patients

The nurses should be the doctors. I saw three doctors and it was obvious before they spoke that they should be working in a different field of work. They were completley incompentent. I heard more medical knowledge from the nurses taking my blood. It seems that Florida is one the bottom of the totem pole for capable Healthcare workers because it just gets worse and worse here.

We came at 10am this morning and still waiting to be taken to a room. It's being 4 hrs. My husband has been in pain the whole time and nurses ignore our requests for pain medication or something. His blood pressure is high and he has not received any treatment. Awful experience.
