Horrible hospital! I was Their since 10am and the er technician was the only one I saw first,to try and withdraw blood which they poked me 3 times and had to call another tech for assistant, this was around 12pm! The PA NEVER SHOWED UP ! They had forgot about putting my IV! PAIN MEDICINE WAS GIVEN AT 1PM ! THE DR NEVER CAME BY TO GO OVER MY DISCHARGE PAPERS AT ALL! THIS IS THE WORSE HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER GONE TO! They re did the same exams , and ordered me a ct scan without dye while I'm on pain !

Since I live in miami beach, I have been there a few times. Last year, I had to go due to gallbladder stones ( I scheduled the surgery after). The service is always exceptional. Doctors and nurses are friendly, caring and professional. Usually , doctors see you very soon after you arrive. ( of course, it depends on how busy they are with other patients). The rooms are very comfortable and I love the warm blankets. Nobody likes to go to an ER at midnight night, but when you have an emergency, mount sinai Miami Beach offers great medical services. When they removed my gallbladder, I got a room with water view ( of the bay ). So , yes it is a five stars ER and hospital .

I appreciated the entire staff. I don't recall all of the names, but some were Dr Ulloa, Nurse Dayana, Patrick (med tech? Not sure of exact title/job description), and there were a number of others, all of whom were extremely pleasant, caring and kind. I was treated as a human being, not just a room number, and as someone whose time and concerns mattered. While it's understandably never lightning-fast to get test results in an emergency room setting, they all made an effort to move things along as quickly as possible, and were caring and attentive to my physical discomfort, as well as my time pressures and constraints.

Overall, it was as pleasant an experience one could have when one is in a condition to have to visit the emergency room in the first place. šŸ™‚

Horrible experience. I came in twice in a span of 3 days with extreme lower abdominal pain. The first time they ordered a uroanalysis and came back at 2 WBC UA which is normal range. The second time I came in they did a second uroanalysis that came back at 10 WBC UA. However, they said they didn’t know what was causing the pain and prescribed an anti-spasm medication and sent me home with no answers. When I received the online results the next day I checked them and realized the WBC count was 10 which is clearly indicative of an infection. I had to go to another doctor and explain the whole thing and show him the results and finally got prescribed antibiotics and am feeling better. I spent over 3 days in pain with episodes of acute pain due to a bad diagnosis. This is borderline malpractice. Please do better as you are dealing with human lives.

We trust our healthcare providers to take care of us, listen to our symptoms, and properly diagnose our ailments. However, preconceived notions and medical gaslighting can interfere with a proper diagnosis and receiving the quality medical care you deserve.I’ve been a patient here for 30 yrs and can honestly say that the complaints are very much alike. Dr. Ramon Quintero did not check my knees which hurt the most. Offered only Tylenol when he could clearly see in the system that my meds are much stronger and had ran out. Did not bother to prescribe the patches he offered and didn’t provide me with a walker I asked for. Medical Gaslighting leads to Medical Malpractice. Never Again!

This was the worst experience of my life. It’s a shame this is even referred to as emergency care. I arrived with an open fracture on my finger, which was mangled and looked so bad that I genuinely thought I might lose it. My nail was torn off, and I was bleeding heavily. I waited for over an hour and 20 minutes before I finally left to seek help at another emergency room.
During that time, they only took blood and measured my blood pressure. After an hour, a doctor finally appeared, but he simply said I was "too anxious" for him and disappeared. I don’t know what they expect from someone with an open fracture, a torn-off nail, uncontrollable bleeding, and indescribable pain.
Later, a nurse came by and gave me something to calm down, but she also commented that I was making her nervous. To be clear, I was sitting on the bed, crying—not screaming or acting neurotic in any way. I waited another 30 minutes, but no one checked on me or offered any care, so I left. Of course, no one even noticed I was gone.
It’s worth mentioning that the emergency room wasn’t even busy; they didn’t seem overwhelmed with patients.
Emergency care at this hospital is a disgrace. God forbid anyone ever relies on them for help

Very modern, efficient and clean.

We were seen within 15 mins and all the staff were very helpful, kind and attentive.

We read the bad reviews before coming so were a little apprehensive but it was one of the best ERs I have been to
