DO NOT GO HERE - SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND GO TO BAYFRONT NEAR TROPICANA!

I went to this hospital on 9/23/23 unaware that I would need to have an emergency surgery since my situation was life threatening. I was already nervous and scared but, felt like my experience would be good because the place is new.

The Nurse that was assigned to me was UNDERQUALIFIED and seemed to be unfamiliar with taking blood. I was stabbed multiple times. She kept telling me that she couldn't see my veins (see photo of my arm turning PURPLE). I started to feel very uneasy on top of not knowing exactly what was going on at that time with my pain.

They determined what was going on and said that this hospital could not keep me overnight because there were no rooms and they were needing to admit me to Bayfront near Tropicana by ambulance. I told them that I would rather have my husband drive me because I did not want to be billed for an ambulance. They told me that I would NOT be billed because it is Bayfront to Bayfront hospital. They also told my husband and I that if we decided to go ourselves that we would be at the back of the line and everything would get re-done (checking in). Since Bayfront told me that I would not be billed and I was in severe pain and know in the know of a life threatening condition - hindsight I felt like I was taken advantage of with my situation.

Several months later I received a bill from Sunstar. I called Bayfront billing department and spoke with Jocelyn. Jocelyn put me on hold for 20 minutes to speak with SAMUEL HUDDLESON who is the manager of billing. Samuel advised that I call Sunstar billing department and have Sunstar call them. I called Sunstar and they let me know that I need to call Bayfront and have the Manager SAMUEL call Sunstar to have the bill charged to the correct party.

NOW MY BILL IS IN COLLECTIONS. I've been fighting tooth and nail for a response on having the bill be billed to the correct party and get my bill out of COLLECTIONS. I can't believe that the BAYFRONT BILLING DEPARTMENT provided NO SOLUTION to a bill that I should NOT HAVE BEEN BILLED. I went to this hospital for CARE and left feeling MORE ANXIOUS and now dealing with this collections bill every day.

I will NOT go to this stand alone hospital or refer anyone here!!!

Had been having panic attacks for 2 days and this time my chest was tight and my upper back/shoulder were killing me. Went to ER tonight make sure it was just a panic attack and not a heart attack. Dr walked me back to the room and asked questions a long the way. Explained everything that was going to happen and how long it was going to take. Even though we all figured it was a panic attack and not a heart attack, they took it seriously and made me feel good about my decision to come on.

Dr Ryan and her team went above and beyond for my family today on New Years Day. Even though a visit to the emergency room is not something you want to do, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and put a smile on our face during a changeling time. We know where we will go when we need care from now on!! Thank you all.

Dr Ryan if you could please contact us we need help. We have been here and feel completely neglected at the downtown location. This has been one hell of a nightmare. No one is on the same page and everyone is saying contradictory things.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

My fiance has been really sick, and needed to go to the hospital. We decided to go to Orlando Health and I am so glad that we did. His nurse Amy was amazing! She was the epitome of what a Nurse should be. His Doctor, also amazing. They did not let him leave without having answers! God willing we don't have to go back, however if there is ever an emergency, we will be back to Orlando Health.

Yesterday, May 29, 2024 I took myself to the emergency room fearing I was having a heart attack after my blood pressure had soared extremely high. As I entered the Receptionist greeted me and was already asking me for my information. Fortunately she was able to access my medical records and within 5 minutes I was met by Kristy, a Paramedic, and taken to an examination room where Dr. Martino's Team, Bobby, Amanda, and 3 others went into action. I was attended quickly, efficiently, professionally, courteously and friendly. They are the best. The facility is state of the art, extremely clean and well organized. Thank God, it wasn't a heart attack, and they did get to the bottom of it. I highly recommend their services.

I want to thank Kristy and Pam who went above and beyond during my care at this EC. I broke my ankle and I was in excruciating pain. Kristy and Pam were so helpful, keeping me calm and informed during my stay. Thank you both for your caring affect, it definitely helped make a painful situation bearable.

Staff is amazing. Kaylan and Dr. Ryan were both friendly and professional! Jay and Kim as well...the whole team was great. I've had negative experiences with unfriendly hospital staff before but these folks were amazing from start to finish

Hospital started out great went in today and the doctor seemed to not even care or want to be there in fact. She Asked me what should she do to treat me? that was my sign to get my stuff and go. I didn’t go to school to become a Dr you did. How can you treat someone and not even take their blood work? Me and my family will never come back here again. Horrible
