Service was quick saw the nurse practitioner once and did not see her or a doctor again. I was released by the nurse she could not give any answers to my questions regarding my condition she did Not have answers. Just to follow up with my orthopedic and take medication. I felt like my condition matter at first but then because it was not urgent it went through the cracks.

I love Orlando Health but it would have been nice to follow up after my CT scan to speak to a doctor

My 8 year old son fell off our trampoline and required stitches on his knee, the staff was so well accommodating and got us in and out in less then a hour. They were so patient with our son and caring. One of the nurses actually met us outside the Emergency room entrance and helped me get him onto a wheelchair. 5 stars we give!! Thank you all!

I had to visit the Orlando Health Emergency Room recently, and I was really impressed with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and professional. The check-in process was quick, and they got me in to see someone pretty fast.

The nurses and doctors were amazing, super thorough and kind. They made sure to explain everything clearly and took the time to answer my questions. I really felt like they cared about making sure I was okay.

The facility itself was clean and comfortable, which definitely helped make the whole experience less stressful. Overall, I left feeling really grateful for the excellent care I got. If you ever need emergency care, I’d definitely recommend Orlando Health!

This hospital is without a doubt the most efficient, professional, caring facility we have ever experienced. From start to finish every staff member, nurse, doctor's were consistently kind, caring, made certain that my special needs son received the help and care he needed.
His nurse and the testing technician that cared for him made sure he was made to feel safe and comfortable. This hospital should be a role model for others to follow. It is well worth the 45 minute drive.

I recently visited South Lake ER for severe back pain. I had not visited an ER before, so I was a bit anxious about the wait time, conditions, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful facility, welcoming staff, and very short wait time to be seen. They immediately did a CT scan and found I had fractured a rib. They were very caring and although there was not much they could do, they provided pain meds and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, and felt I was treated exceptionally well. Don't hesitate if you do need immediate care to visit this ER.

As a patient at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, I’ve been impressed with the advanced treatments and responsive care they provide. The staff is attentive and professional, and the quality of care truly stands out. It’s clear why they’re recognized for clinical excellence. While everything has been positive for me, I have noticed that the staff can be very busy at times, which might affect availability. Overall, I feel confident in the care I’ve received and would recommend the hospital to others.

I visited twice last week. The first time was quick, the nurse was kind, the doctor was patient, and I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, the second visit was absolutely awful. I will say that the ER was packed to the brim this time. I waited a long time, was seen on a gurney in the hallway, and I didn’t see a doctor at all. I was released against doctor’s orders because I couldn’t wait any longer under those conditions. It was a rather rough visit and I wish the people around me would’ve listened to my concerns more. If the ER is super busy I would suggest waiting until it’s less full if possible.

So we got to the emergency room and the nurses were friendly and I understand about them not having much room in the back, they had like a quick clinic set up on the side of the waiting room and to be honest I felt like there was no privacy. You were listening on to the conversation of other people’s symptoms then I felt like it started getting loud , To have a two year who isn’t feeling well and scared was not the greatest experience then when her temp started going back up I told the nurse but she seemed ready to just send us home and I was like okay I’ll be handling it back at home. I was also told the doctor would be with us quicker which again wasn’t the truth. I believe if you want to be seen by the clinic that should be explained at check in, and we should have the right to say yes or no.
