Pueblo hospitals don’t even care about people anymore. My daughter was seen here. They wouldn’t prescribe her anything and she’s six years old for her rash on her body I wish I could get paid $50 an hour or whatever their pay is to come in and basically tell them what’s wrong and to go get treatment somewhere else how nice is that? No but I work every single day eight hours for my money and I work hard Meanwhile, they get to walk into a room tell you oh yeah this is wrong. Go get some medicine from Walgreens and walk right back out and boom there’s their money.

I can only talk of my experience. But when you see and hear the doctor taking a personal phone call in the middle of the hallway when there are patients in need, people need to know.
We waited approximately 2.5 hours to speak with a doctor. When he finally came in, he was there for about 5 minutes, asked me some questions and got a phone call. He said he would be right back and we NEVER saw him again. We didn't see any doctor at all.
He did order a CT scan. But never came in the room to discuss the results. We did see him though going back and forth to other rooms.
His and the nurses notes were either lies or misunderstandings. I saw these via the patient portal.
When we decided we wanted to leave after getting minimal care from a doctor, we had to wait an additional hour for the nurse to come in and take the IV out.
This was a horrible experience. I would say if you are in any need of help, do NOT go to this emergency room. You may not be helped.

I went in a few weeks ago for a threatened miscarriage. All of the nurses were extremely kind and respectful. I didn't end up miscarrying, baby is fine, but I will never forget how secure I felt during such a difficult time. Thank you.

Very unprofessional, Staff was rude Staff Showed no desire to help people. We waited three and a half hours and finally asked him to remove all the wiring and hoses we were leaving. This was a very worst emergency room experience I have ever witnessed. And that includes the complete shaft Including the doctor. I would go to colorado springs before I would go back to parkview emergency. I can't believe they have jobs, I can not say enough bad about iterrible terrible experience.

My wife and I been sitting in the emergency room for 2 hours now I feel like that's appointment kind of time. God forbid people get help in a timely manner

Parkview has gone way downhill, sadly. People are being brought in by ambulance, only to be shoved unceremoniously in a wheelchair, have their IV saline locked, and made to wait 5-6 hours in the waiting room before seeing a provider. We were told “oh, be thankful. This is a slow night. Usually it’s a 9-10 hour wait to be moved to the back.” This is appalling and unacceptable. If you end up needing admission, it could be anywhere from 24-48 hours before you are transferred to a room on the ward. That time WILL be spent on an uncomfortable ER gurney. They are admitting patients under incorrect providers (despite multiple conversations trying to confirm admission under the correct provider). Conflicting orders get entered because of this. Two nurses, one nurse manager, and the ER doctor were great. However, one of the nurses was incredibly rude, and the whole experience left a poor impression. Sadly, we will not be back because overall, you could get better treatment at a vet.

No patient should ever have to wait hours to see emergency medical staff. This is 3rd world country style. COME ON FOLKS, YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TOO LONG! Learn something and change it!
