They said "all she needs is ibuprofen we will have you out of here in 15 mins". Then an hour later the doctor stopped in to see if she was better... But they had never brought the ibuprofen. He apologized and said he'd get on that. Another hour he stopped in and asked if she was better, but they still hadn't given her anything. 2 hrs of pain while they fumble to get the most simple medication ever. So I left with them having done nothing.

Fantastic staff and doctors. Kind and compassionate folks who provide excellent care, from the ER to the ICU to the floors. So thankful for how they've taken care of my child multiple times now. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

The Emergency Room was a very long wait for midday Wednesday. However, the care was absolutely worth the wait!!!

We have been in and out of emergency depts for the past 5 months, and no other hospital has been able to treat my daughter because they do not have the specialty she needs - Pediatric Rheumatology. This is the only place in the state who has this team.

We were met and greeted by a doctor with the most inviting personality in the emergency room, who walked us back to our own space. While walking he said, "we are going to get this figured out, get her a treatment plan, and get her back to feeling good again." It was an answer to prayers!!

Yes, we needed to play musical rooms while there. Yes, there are more patients than staff, but every single person we encountered was kind, patient, welcoming, and met my daughter at her level!

We have found our team, and we are no longer waiting in waiting rooms for HOURS on end only be turned away at the end with no answers and a referral elsewhere.

We are very pleased with the Pediatric ED and look forward to working with Rheum team!

Don’t take your kids here for nighttime ER visits. Every single person that came in our room was very condescending and rude and contradicted what the person before told them. One person said we could be discharged 3 hours after a nebulizer if no bleeding, another said we can be discharged after 3 hours total of being there altogether. One doctor said to do Tylenol every 6 hours then another said every 4 hours. The doctor said she would sent my prescription over to the pharmacy but then never actually did and printed it off instead. At 3 am this is extremely frustrating. I asked not to do a blood draw but finger prick instead, no one told me it was basically the same thing and they had to squeeze the blood out of the finger for 3 vials to be filled and not just a drop of blood as per usual to test hemoglobin. Then the lab came in to draw blood via IV when I had already expressed no. But I was never informed that both the processes ended up in filling vials of blood. Anytime we needed anything the nurses were just sitting at the desk and I had to wait for them to finish their chit chat about their personal life in order to be helped with my daughter. Insane experience and I have been here multiple times but never at night time, I would give it another chance in the daytime but never will I go here again after 9 pm. Waste of my time and got treated poorly.

Wait times were over three hours long even though there were only 5 patients at max in the waiting room at the busiest time. Patients weren’t wearing masks and were taking them off while coughing and no staff intervened. During the wait there was no one updating on the wait time or checking in on health updates. Shared the information at check in that the reason for visit took place at work and yet it took me checkin in again after an hour to make sure it went on the record before that was taken into account for workers comp. Was told my insurance was not active yet when myself and others on the plan called customer service, all was confirmed as right. Benefit of the doubt is that they are short staffed and overworked—yet still was dissatisfied with the level of care being provided and patient attention given during the check in and waiting time.

Have had two acute visits for injuries and child life helped immensely with preparing our son. Both were weekend or evening and we were in and out in a reasonable timeframe for an ER.

Could not have had a better experience with my 2 year old getting stitches yesterday. Nurses and the care specialist really took the extra time to ensure that my child had the most peaceful experience possible. Highly recommended!
