We have been waiting for 10+ hours, and we were just told we’ll have to wait another two. Throughout this time, staff has barely checked on patients, despite the fact that I have seen several elderly individuals screaming in agonizing pain with little to no attention.

When I check the estimated wait times, they are consistently inaccurate, and staff members are often rude and dismissive when asked for updates. The lack of urgency and compassion is shocking.

The waiting time alone is dangerous, especially for those in severe distress, and the staff’s attitude is appalling. I truly hope serious action is taken to address these issues, because no one should have to endure this kind of neglect in an emergency setting.

So I never have rated an emergency department 5 stars. I have a very rare condition called Hereditary Angioedema that is difficult to treat and largely unknown. Having recently moved to the city from the suburbs partly for treatment was a very good decision.

I have now been here twice. Once with a serious abdominal attack back in February and last night with a concussion after an accident. Both situations that could have resulted in a fatality. The ER doctor listened, asked me questions on what he didn’t know and treated appropriately with minimal invasion and superior care. They have the medications most hospitals don’t carry for me and took the time to learn what they didn’t know. I really can’t ask for much more. Dr. Batson and the nursing staff were stellar. Thank you.

My experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite expressing to every medical professional I encountered that I was experiencing extreme weakness, severe back pain, leg pain, and hip discomfort, I was sent home without an MRI. She examined my spine and I let her know I didn’t feel any pain. However that’s the area she still decided to X-Ray which came back normal. When I inquired whether they would examine my hip, she dismissively stated, ‘I know there won’t be anything on the X-ray, but we can if you want,’ as though my concerns were trivial.

My request for an MRI was denied, with the rationale being that I hadn’t crawled into the ER—an absurd and degrading explanation. I left the hospital in the same excruciating pain but was prescribed medication for a condition they couldn’t even confirm via X-ray. Dr. Catherine also remarked that because I am not a 50-year-old man, my pain couldn’t possibly be comparable, claiming to know I haven’t been in constant pain for years. Such a statement reeks of discrimination and a complete disregard for patient care. I absolutely do not recommend this facility.

Nothing but a Worthless hospital . This hospital at one time was the most top care facility hospital . Now today's day is a gettoooo Worthless care facility. They make you wait in the ER waiting room for many hours . The staff got bad altitudes went you asking questions on there progress on how many hour you be sitting on the ER room to be seen . My daughter took my grandson in the ER very ill . Only to be waiting 4 hour and and no results on the time to be seen by a doctor. Went my daughter asked for how much she had to wait the staff took a attitude and said to my daughter that my grandson had to wait for a covi test . on a 2 year old child what kind of staff or nurses is giving out a diagnosis without the child been seen by Doctor. She was told to sit and wait to be call went she been waiting more then 4 hour . My daughter got upset and exit the worthless gettoooÊ» hospital . This happen on 1/2/2025 in the evening . This hospital is most concern and I know for a fact that this hospital facility is most into the big money making digging service for big medical service like big heart and major operations are done . were big money comes in from insurance company . Now For the meantime they will make you sit in ER room for hour . Absolutely one of the failing hospital icon facility in the city of Philadelphia. Pa . Cooper hospital in Camden NJ is also heading the same way but they seen to give more professional services and caring for patience . Now in day you just don't get the professional and health care you did years ago . for now just sit and wait for better health service .

2022 I will never forgive how your emergency room staff treated us. My wife had just had our daughter, and became pre-eclamptic afterwards. We ended up here since she had our daughter next door at the hospital, and we were treated like 2 drug abusers. No empathy, no looking up records after WE told them she just had a baby. Disgusting, I wish I remembered all of the doctors/ nurses names that were involved. The first nurse asked why my wife was screaming in pain and just walked out the room after an explanation. Seems as though it was nothing but residence staff and maybe a couple of doctors running the floor that evening. We were in that room for a few hours trying to get someone to assist, and my wife was finally given Tramadol. After the pain subsided, we left and ended back up in the hospital so she could get a magnesium treatment. Stayed for 3 days. I understand that there is a huge problem with drug abusers in Philadelphia, it just sucks to be treated that way because of poor judgment. Yes, 2 years later I'm still pissed off about this.

Yup Josh Zallot PA -C was very nice and kind to me. The nurse was ok but a bit impatient and mildly rude but she contained herself. However, the diagnosis were not completely correct. Overall they gave me life saving treatments.

This hospital service went down hill from when I started originally going in 1997. The obgyn doctors are dismissive towards my fibroids and my pain and the amount of loss of blood each month that I've been going to the oncology department to get the i.v treatments for iron I have A 1 health insurance so there is no excuse for tge doctors not to any treatments or refer me to a specialist for treatments I will be switching hospitals and hopefully I will get 100% better service/ treatment. They were really good from the 90's to 2008. It's like all you need is a hifh school diploma or GED to be a doctor there now.

Went there for my partner who was experiencing extreme pain and the service was incredible. Shout out to Caitlin and Dr Martin. We got in quickly and the care was some of the best ER care I’ve ever seen.
