There was a leak in my main line. Jake and his crew came out to fix it. Everyone was sooo nice, friendly, and professional. They guaranteed their work, and I've had no issues with it. A little over a month later, water was pooling in my front yard. I could see the water gurgling up between the lines in the sidewalk, and the yard was muddy and soaked and water was streaming down the street. I was so distraught as I had just paid a huge bill to replace the main line. I called Plumb Er again and Danielle answered. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. I explained the situation and she let me text pics and videos so she could help diagnose the issue. She called Jake and conferenced him in. He was booked that day, but he offered to come out the next day which would've been Sunday. He told me if it was related to the repair he had made, it wouldn't cost me anything for him to fix it, but he suspected it was the irrigation system because the pipe they replaced had no connection points to leak from and the pipe surely had not burst. He and Danielle walked me and my son through how to fix the issue ourselves to save me some money! Danielle was so sweet. She went on Home Depot's site and screenshot pics of the tools and materials we needed and texted them to me so we were sure to get the right things. Jake had taken pics of the pipes when he and his team had dug up the yard to fix the main line. In the pics, you could see where the pipe connected the main line to the irrigation system. Danielle use that pic and marked the pipe with a red line of where we needed to cut and then cap off the water flow to the irrigation system. Unfortunately we didn't have a valve to stop the water flow so we had to cap the pipe. Once we dug the hole, she told us to take a pic and mark where we planned to cut and send it to her so she could show Jake and he could verify we were not going to cut in a bad spot. They never complained, and they told us to be sure to call back if we had any questions, that she'd stick around until we were done. It was a Saturday! Surely she wanted to get off work, but she never acted as if we were inconveniencing her. She was calm, polite, and genuinely helpful the whole time. Her and Jake answered questions and graciously walked us through everything. When we were done, we sent a pic of our handy work, and they celebrated with us, and congratulated us on a job well done.

They could have claimed it was something that only a plumber could fix just to get more money, but they DID NOT. They did NOT take advantage of us, but instead did all they could to help us. They have so much integrity that I will be singing their praises for years to come.

Whole House Cast Iron Sewer Pipe Replacement/Reroute

If you have cast iron pipes, this is a frighteningly expensive job that all of us have to do, as they are all at the end of their lifespan. Not only is it expensive, but some companies do not use the correct parts, do not create the correct slope for drainage, destroy your irrigation or electrical wiring, do not pack the dirt back correctly, expect you to actually vacate your house for days on end, try to avoid city inspections….so many potential nightmares. I highly recommend Plumb E.R. in Forney. Jake is the nicest, most honest and helpful person, has a full-time digging team of 16 years, knows each city’s requirements, and will pass inspection the first time, every time. They are incredibly fast to completion, always left us a useable bathroom and shower, and the entire process took less than a week with no need for us to leave. While replacing the sewer pipes, we also found yet another existing slab leak that had been going on for ages. Jake took it in stride, added an additional pex re-route through our attic (this was the only hot water that had not already been re-routed out of our slab), and very kindly fixed all the ancient 1976 leaky faucets and drains I had given up on so that we could actually use the master bathroom until we have it remodeled. What I thought would be a miserable experience was actually fast, correct the first time, well finished, and just a month later you can barely even tell anything was done in the yard at all. Jake’s confidence and cheeriness kept us sane during the process, and it’s amazing to have flawless drainage and peace of mind. Do yourself the favor of not requiring rework, and use Plumb E.R., you will not regret your choice.

Danielle got me scheduled for the very next day, and Will came out to do the repair.

Both Danielle and Will were prompt, kind, and professional.

Will also took the time to show me exactly how to shut off my water valve in the front of the house, and spent time talking me through exactly what the issue was, and had it fixed in less than an hour.

While I HOPE I don’t need more plumbing work, I would definitely do business with these folks again.

Excellent service by Jake and Parker. Worked with my home warranty, ID'd the problem in a straightforward transparent way, and fixed it.

I'm honest about these reviews for service people. The good ones truly earn their pay, are great to learn from, and treat all people with respect. The bad ones (see SDL) don't care who they step on, will lie, and deserve no business at all. I'm happy to talk about both.

Top notch company and work! Jake is professional and his work is excellent. He is very responsive, kept us posted of his arrival time as he was in route and performed our work to our utmost satisfaction. Our job changed into a more complicated repair at the last minute, and Jake was able to adjust his schedule and handled our repairs promptly. He is very knowledgeable and works efficiently. PlumbER is definitely our "go to" plumber for all our future plumbing needs.

Plumb-ER was sent to my house by my home warranty company to diagnose my issue of water not draining in the master shower. Jake came out and ran a camera to find the pipe broken in 3 places under the slab. He provided an estimate to me for tunneling and digging and for the repair of the pipe. As a first time home owner, I was surprised at the cost, but when comparing to other plumbers, it was VERY reasonable. We scheduled the work to be completed and the crew showed up right on the dot each day. Also during the job, Jake found additional damage where the pipe they were replacing couldn’t connect to the main pipe as it’s the original cast iron of 1977 and was just disintegrating and crumbling. He had great advice for me to contact insurance and worked with us on that additional find. All of the old pipes pulled from our house were cracked, crumbling, and probably needed to be replaced 15 years ago. I also found it reassuring for Jake to show me what was in fact under our house and how bad it was. Our job, which consisted of tunneling and digging for 16 feet at the side + another 12 on the front of the house and fixing the pipe was completed in 2 1/2 days and I’m so happy and appreciative of the work they did. I would recommend to anyone and everyone needing a big plumbing job done.
