I’ve never left a bad review in my life, but this warranted it. I felt like I was in a simulation where the “doctors” and “nurses” were doing a parody of incompetent, non-empathetic, confused “patient care.” I Went in because I had surgery a few days ago and some common complications occurred that start out minor but if left untreated can be very major and scary. I waited until I could not take the pain and home remedies any more and went in. With the exception of the two technicians, I felt like nobody cared about the level of pain, nor my fear and need for comforting. I was crying my eyes out, in severe pain and in my haste to get back to the bed, the room door slammed. The nurse (Bradie) came in and scolded me for slamming the door. She patronized me, and kept taking my cries for pain personally. I work in customer service and I used to work in patient care. And I’ve seen a lot of upset people. I’ve also been a patient a couple times and NEVER in my life have I seen such unprofessionalism. They didn’t want to help me because the procedure wasn’t fun, so they kept saying “we could try this, but I’m not very successful at it” or “we could try this, but….” I finally walked out in agony and they were EAGER to watch me leave so they could go back to sit around at their computers whispering. They should be reported for negligence.
Anyway, Baylor Scott and White nurses rule. Never going anywhere else.

As someone who lives out of state it is shocking the little effort that some of the staff would take to comfort a worried sibling. My sister was involved in a car accident, I called up there to get information, and someone named James refused to give me any information. Claiming that HIPPA wouldn’t allow him to go into the room and get consent from both my sister and mother (although i was able to talk to them, it seems like neither of them knew why things were happening, because no one explained anything, and they didn’t know what questions to ask). After confronting him with the fact that If proper consent was obtained that I could get information over the phone, he claimed that “they are a stand alone ER and operate differently”. Now I totally understand that this is a busy ER and that they have plenty of patients. But I would have been fine with a “hey let me get consent, and call you back when I’m able to”. I don’t know how this place has some high star reviews.

Brought my 8 month old in today with a bad cough/chest congestion. The nurse practitioner we saw basically asked me why we were even there, like we were an inconvenience. She didn’t ask anything about my son’s condition. She prescribed some things but said that they may not work, and did not offer any helpful advice. I don’t take my kids to the doctor often at all, we are very healthy. When I do, it’s because I’m legitimately concerned and expect to at least be taken seriously.

The wait time is generally brief which is important to me👍

Dr. Bryant was very helpful for me this past Sunday morning at about 4 AM.

He made a suggestion of how I could get a better nights sleep which no other doctor had thought of🤗

I was sick and they got me in right away, so no wait, even though it was 11:00 on a Monday. The staff was attentive and friendly. The doctor was great, asked questions and offered great advice regarding medications. I wouldn’t have gotten better so quickly had he not taken the time to provide the extra care. I will go back if needed, and not just because they are close by my residence.

WATCH YOUR BILL! I had swelling above my lip, got an antibiotic & was billed the "urgent care rate" $299. It came back four days later. I went back, got an IV antibiotic & got billed the "emergency room rate" $7,272!!!

Doctor was good, when I arrived I gave them my insurance and medicare cards, why didnt they tell me they do not file Medicare? Now I have a nice bill with no help from premier.

If you are in ANY kind of need to be seen or seen quickly, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT go here!!! NO ONE in the lobby, 3 cars in the parking lot. And we were one of the 3. When we were finally given the clipboard to fill out one of the 3 left. After 20 minutes in the lobby, we finally went back. AN HOUR LATER still not seen or even assessed. So after watching everyone behind the desk laugh, cut up, playing on their phone, we left. We will NEVER go back!!!
