I drove up to ER and I was big and pregnant in labor and parked my car to go inside and this woman told me to drive around to the mother baby center SMH and then a doctor popped my bag without warning sent my baby into distress and I had to do an emergency C section and after that I was bullied by all of the nurses after I had my baby they tried to send me home when I was warning them that I felt weird they kept saying it’s normal until I had to literally yell help me I am not leaving until you find out what’s wrong.. they took my blood pressure and thought the machine was broken and then took it again and they found out I had preeclampsia and I had to do blood transfusions they start arguing amongst each other saying hurry get her before she goes into stroke heart attack they said this right in front of me which made me even more upset and uneasy then they judged me for not vaccinating my child and the doctor said kids in Africa don’t have this chance he said this to me and I’m American and never been to Africa and that doesn’t apply to me then told every new nurse that came in that I was difficult to deal with and ultimately lied on my sons first visit note saying I refused every care for my child and I have mental health issues which I was never seen or diagnosed with any mental health issues and then to top it off the nurse asked me if I needed to see a psychiatrist I told the head nurse and she said we don’t have psychiatrist here and she doesn’t have the education to diagnose anyone. This was a nightmare having my first and only child at this hospital I’ll never forget and now I probably need therapy for what they did to me.

They have changed from the regions that I knew a few years back. They are very accommodating polite treat you with respect, I have never been treated
like I'm a special person and where I come from doesn't matter. Thanks for being there for me and my fiancee when he was in critical condition.

Like many others on here, I would give it a zero if I could.

My wife had a broken ankle in 3 places and a broken foot in 2, AND was brought in by an ambulance, and they made us wait in a packed waiting room. Other people mentioned they were there for common colds and vomiting, and were seen before she was. After 3 hours we left and went to a better hospital. We drove ourselves. Got in right away. I wouldn't recommend a single person go there. Awful place. Terrible management and care staff.

Went to regions twice for knee trauma . The first time they found something behind the knee and actually told me to go to an urgent care at an orthopedic clinic instead of having it treated there. The second time they took an X RAY and just let me sit in the lobby which was fairly empty while other people were seen then left this cycle went on for hours . Now I hate to even say this but I am a person of color and my wife is not . Firstly I observe staff talking to people of color like they are garbage . Secondly my wife , who is not a person of color went in for elbow and shoulder pain and was seen immediately and admitted for over two weeks while they ran test after test and she had to ask to go home after two weeks . Oh even though they are a level 1 trauma center . The hospital itself has no orthopedics department and have 1 surgeon on call so I would not go there if you are a person of color who has any type of emergent orthopedic injury .

I rarely go to the ER, but as a medical professional, know how overwhelming it can be for all. I had to go in for something emergent, and was rapidly triaged, seen immediately, and had a thorough workup. Obviously, depending on when you go, the ER will be busy at different times, but I had amazing nursing care, radiology technicians, PAs, etc. and was really thankful for these front-line lifesavers! Thanks to all the amazing medical professionals who are there for us 24-7 and holidays!

I was having severe abdominal pain and initially went to Southdale since it was a closer choice for my brother, who took me in. But they were so rude at Southdale I decided to Uber over to Regions, and I'm so glad I did. Literally, everyone I interacted with there was as equally kind as they were professional and it made a very stressful health situation much easier to deal with. I got the treatment I needed and will hopefully have an uneventful recovery.

Everything was done in a timely manner until I had to wait over 3 hours for my discharge paperwork. The discharge paperwork was on my portal but it took them over 3 hours to print it and give it to me.
