Went in 8/11 with a pinched nerve or something of that nature in my back. Zero assistance as I slowly walked in taking baby steps. The young girl at the desk barely looked at me took my id and info didn't bother to ask if I needed any type of assistance. When I was called to the back same thing the tech stood at the double doors didn't bother to ask if I needed help surely watching me take baby steps to get through the doors yo the room they were putting me in. 4 different people came in the room. Someone brought me the tablet to complete the portal registration. The next person to my blood pressure. Then a nurse came in and gave me a pain shot and told me the do tor would be coming in. He came in sat on the little barstool looking chair asked me brief general questions about my back and the pain. Basically told me it's more than likely just a pinched nerve or muscle issue that would relax and the pain would go away in time. He was in the room less than 5 minutes. When leaving I was given the prescription paperwork for 2 scripts. Valium and Naproxin. When I got to the pharmacy they had 3 scripts for me not 2. They had also called in a steroid prescription that I received no paperwork on. Lack of professionalism from start to finish was miserable. I then received a bill for over $5,000 for the ER visit and then a separate bill just for the doctor. I filed complaints regarding both bills and lack of services rendered. I refuse to pay anymore than $500 total for the entire experience and lack of care, professionalism etc. Open the website and read the creative writing they use to market their services. It starts with this...
"When a serious health emergency or
injury occurs, seconds can matter.
From the moment you enter our doors,
our dedicated staff of emergency room
doctors and medical professionals
make it their mission to provide quality
compassionate care." Again I refuse to pay the ridiculous amount of plus $6000. Send me a new revised bill with a total of $500 and I'll pay that amount and not a penny more.
