I should have written a review last time I was here because it seems like services get worse and worse unless you are homeless or on drugs. Had to visit again with my husband this week and the lack of care he received while waiting for medical staff was appalling. (He arrived via ambulance.) He went in with excruciating abdominal pain and asked multiple times for someone to help him use the restroom, bring a portable toilet or urinal and no one would acknowledge his needs. He ended up with a mess and they didnt even help him clean up. He was never offered help, wipes, socks, blankets etc... He had to ask for everything. I even asked for extra blankets and one nurse pointed to where i could find them myself until another nurse offered to get them for me. I will be filing a formal complaint. No one should sit in their on excrement while in a Hospital setting. UNACCEPTABLE!

The waiting time to be seen was difficult, BUT the care I received was very efficient, effective, caring and of the highest quality overall. The doctors and nurses took good care of me and were very kind and supportive. I'm very grateful for their professional, personal care - they saved my life!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been having eye pain in my right eye for a few weeks I’ve been to the urgent care 3 times so I thought maybe I would get some help at the emergency room. I was there about 2 hours. I wasn’t even able to see a real Dr. I saw a resident Dr and I was never even taken to an exam room. The resident checked my eyes in the waiting area and told me she needed to call an optamologist. After 3 hours of waiting I left. Poor poor service. I would never ever come here again. Lack of professionalism and respect .

The ER doctor bedside manner sucked. He was telling me that there’s nothing they could do and I told him that was bullshit because every time I’ve come there and they’ve gotten the water weight off me or some of it anyways and I had missed an MRI for my spinal for spinal and for my head CT scan and my doctor. I asked if I could have it done while I was there and he says there’s other patients that need the machine. I told him one of them was from a doctor that worked their doctor Patel why don’t you have a call him and find out But he didn’t bother doing that it just seems I come to that hospital to get treated and for them to help me and it just seems every time unfortunately I’ve had to come in and for this with my fourth visit unless two months and just like every time I go in there to help is less than less every time so unfortunately, that will be my last trip to be this hospital. Needless to say the nurses that I had on my last day yeah they’re supposed to be kind. Well most supposed to be kind but not rude and treating you like you’re nothing.

I came because I had an incredible shortness of breath. IThe staff saw me immediately as I signed in. My treatment there was stellar. I knew in my mind I walked into a “public” hospital for service however, the treatment I received was that of a private hospital very uppercrust very respectful consistently asking me if I was OK or what I needed. I honestly felt like I was at the Huntington hospital or you maybe even the W Hotel. I’m not kidding everyone there was amazing and then the lead nurse came to me to make sure Everything was OK and that was even more impressive. The bedside manner of every nurses doctors & every person that worked there was amazing, kind, generous The emotional quotient was off the Charts!! The quality assurance was impressive. I can’t say enough thank you for saving my life!!

The start of my visit to Riverside Community Hospital Emergency Room was extremely traumatic. From being told I had an aneurysm (which turns out I didn’t) to having a camera forced down my nose. Worst experience ever during those moments. During the rest of my time at the hospital was ok. The nurses are amazing. Shout out to Alvin. One of my first nurses. He was amazing! Some of the doctors I encountered need to do better.

when I arrived at ER, I was taken immediately back as I am an asthma patient. They assessed me and took me right away. Took my labs and did a breathing treatment within 30 minutes. I was a little bothered by the fact that they sat me in the chairs with eight people in a tiny chair hallway. I had breathing trouble and was not comfortable after sitting in the chairs for over an 2 hours and expressing I had trouble I was told I could not have another breathing treatment until the doctor requested it that wasn’t for another hour. This is really unacceptable with asthma patients. I also had pain and was not given pain medication. This visit turned out to be not so bad as prior therefore I wasn’t going to express too much anger.

Nurse Jannette was very nice and patient with me in labor and delivery. Stopping my contractions and updating me with any information. Despite being a long night shift she managed to check in every 30 min.
