Terrible experience. The star is for the the nurses that helped me. They were very nice. I never saw a doctor. After 8 hrs of severe pain i checked myself out and waited outside to go to another hospitsl becsuse paramedics ususlly tske you to the one that is not full and they brought me here. A rude staff member told me i couldn't sit down at the hospital bench outside while i waited for my family to drive me to huntington hospital er. Glad i left. Atleast the care was better at hintington but I still never saw a doctor only a nurse practitioner But it was better than San Gabriel. Good sound medical care has gone seriously down. It’s really sad.

I had an amazing experience at this emergency center. I went reluctantly and fully anticipating a long long wait. I was seen almost immediately, even before the registration paperwork, because I went to be evaluated as to whether I was experience symptoms of a stroke based on my primary care physician's advice. The doctor, Dr. Allen Zhi, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, spent time assessing my symptoms, asking me probing questions, and reached his conclusion in a thoughtful and analytical manner. I didn't feel rushed and felt very cared for. All the staff I encountered were great. Highly recommend.

Most attentive care for my dad in the emergency unit…I want to specifically compliment the team of Jonathan, Wendie, and Eddy. They were so helpful to ease the pain that my dad was going thru with his stomach pain due to constipation. There was a lot of cleaning involved and they were so helpful and patient yet putting on a nice gentle smile and gestures. We greatly appreciate it!

Anytime my son is sick I bring him in to get checked as it is so much faster and closer for me than taking him to his primary Dr. We are usually in and out with an hr, sometimes even 30mins. He’s a toddler so anytime he’s sick it’s a guessing game, so grateful for the team specifically RN Nabila K, she’s great. I’ve gone at different time throughout the 3 years living in the area and it seems she’s always working. Dr Brian IM has seen me a couple times, he’s also great, very attentive, informative and overall can tell he loves his job.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the doctor that took care of my father. In my opinion, the nurses need to communicate with each other and avoid complaining about other patients. Also, a nurse did share a patient's personal information with a loud voice which I thought was disrespectful because the patient could have wanted certain information to be private. I understand the doctors seem to be upset with the disorganization in this emergency room. I hope there is someone that can help manage this place and help organize to make it much easier for everyone to do their job because I am afraid that someone will be given an incorrect diagnosis.

My husband, David had the bariatric surgery on Aug 31. He received excellent care from the surgery to the nursing staff. Deanne from the fourth floor helped us by calling the pharmacy to locate the pain medication I had hard time filled. Unice also did great making sure my husband was comfortable and showed compassion . Thank you for all the wonderful care you've given my husband.
