Thank you to the entire team who took care of me today. Professional, kind and efficient. I know how ER visits go so I know they will alway take hours to get results back. It also takes time for you to be observed. I feel that the team was dedicated to finding me answers and always aware of my needs. Big thanks to Dylan for your great bedside manner, candor and attentiveness today! You made a tough, stressful time much easier to handle.

I went to the ER after advice from my primary care doctor. I was prepared for a long wait, a mountain of paperwork and over a 3 hour stay waiting to see someone, and have tests taken. Instead I was greeted and sent to a bed right away and an x-ray completed in less than 1/2 hour after my arrival. Tracy, the nurse, was wonderful. She explained the results of my x-ray and took a lot of time explaining everything to me. I was very impressed by the calm, caring attitude of all the medical professionals I encountered. I highly recommend St. Anthony's for quality care.

Avoid this ER at all costs! There are plenty of urgent care options around and Lutheran hospital is much better if you need a full ER. They are always slow in the ER and the desk staff and nurses are incredibly rude and uncaring.

I think they forget their job is to care for people and why they are in it. If you want to treat patients rudely and hate your job, leave.

ER visits are insanely expensive, and all that money would be helpful to train empathy for staff vs. bonuses.

Had to go to the ER for what ended up only being a stomach virus. I was in extremely bad shape and the staff at the hospital were all amazing! So nice and helpful I can say enough good things about them

I went to this ER because it was recommended to me, but upon arrival after going through what seemed like an upgrade to the TSA security process, the front desk attendant rudely began shouting questions at my friend, who was literally moaning in pain, clutching his liver in a wheelchair, and when my friend that reacted quite arrogantly The front desk staff who claims he doesn’t have to give his name to my friend when he was questioned by him to my dismay at the time, began berating one another, as if I was not bringing a patient to a hospital. This was extremely unprofessional and the hospital needs to hire staff who are more awake or able to deal with the emotional stress of greeting new patients rather than trying to escalate conflict with them. after all that, my friend was seen very quickly, though I was put on the line in order to facilitate or rather mediate the interactions. Upon entering the facility, my friend was put in a hospital bed and asked a few questions after which it was determined, a few tests would be ordered. That’s when I decided to leave and At that point, I have not slept for a couple of days due to trying to take care of my friend, who was paranoid about the treatment that one receives at hospitals. This case only served to further and grain our collective disillusionment with the medical system, As I waited by my friend side after he passed out, and with the nearby desk attendance blessings, I left my phone number there and explained the gravity of the health condition which was being dealt with. However, the phone number that I left was not reached until the moment that the hospital decided to discharge, sad friend and by that time as he informed me, the hospital told him that I had abandoned him there. When I received a call, jarring me awake from my 30 minute nap for the first time in a couple days, I received threats from both him and the staff. stating that the police would be called because I was taking care of his dog, apparently the staff did not even manage to communicate the fact that I waited there by his side while he was sleeping and then left after my own emergencies were calling. The hospital has utterly failed their duty to heal and revitalize incoming patients when they discharged my friend who is keeling over in agonizing pain, and despite the blood tests, and whatever else they were doing in, there is apparently unmedicated and now back in my vehicle, and I am stuck dealing with the aftermath Because the hospital not only wouldn’t allow him to stay in the room until he was cared for, but wouldn’t even let him sit in the waiting room with his dog, which is a service animal, that I respectfully did not bring inside due to my own considerations for the general public health, and knowing that having a dog in a hospital is a no go. I want to think Saint Anthony’s for pushing the envelope on the fact that our medical system is broken and must be healed apparently by someone who is not a saint because all of these saint hospitals suck

Went in for being really worried I might have meningitis. Had a really bad migraine that went from the back of my head through my temple to my eyeball along with like seven other symptoms , that were never addressed. stiff neck, pale & blotchy skin, hacking up thick mucus ,cold toes, always tired, loss of appetite, loss of memory , can't focus , irritable , blurry vision, ringing in my ears
The only symptom I didn't have was seizures or a stroke..yet , . I had explained I researched my symptoms and said if you have any or all of these to seek medical attention immediately to go in right away if not treated could be fatal, she told me I should NOT 🚫 have done that... AND DIDN'T EVEN LET ME FINISH TALKING SHE INTERRUPTED AND TOLD ME I DID NOT HAVE MENINGITIS THAT SHE COULD JUST TELL JUST BY LOOKING AT ME.!! TO BE PROPERLY DIAGNOSED YOU HAVE TO DO BLOOD WORK AND URINE AND TEST MUCUS SAMPLES AND NONE OF THAT WAS DONE, the CAT scan show me my brain was fine there was nothing wrong with me discharged me for a headache , printed out 10 pages how to treat a headache .. I'M A 44-YEAR-OLD MOTHER WITH FIVE DAUGHTERS PRETTY SURE I KNOW HOW TO TREAT A HEADACHE they had the audacity to print out paperwork on quitting drinking and quitting smoking (which I do not do ) to avoid future headaches . 🙄 MY EXOERIENCE WAS INSULTING TO MY INTELLIGENCE VERY RUDE INAPPROPRIATE UNNECESSARY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Erin Nicole Schulhof & Emily G Noah violated my rights as a patient. Patient Bill of Rights States in paragraph number 5 we have a right to participate in all areas of our care plan treatment care decisions and discharge plan. Paragraph number 7 to be treated with respect and dignity. Paragraph number 17 to be free from all forms of abuse neglect mistreatment or exploitation. Paragraph number 19 we have a right to request medically necessary and appropriate care and treatment. A paragraph number 23 we have a right to participate in decision-making regarding ethical issues, personal values or beliefs. This will be reported to the Colorado department of public health and environment.

ER nurses were rude and short. Was in the ER for intense stomach pain after getting sent from urgent care. Was hooked up to saline and was given a single anti inflammatory. I was in extreme pain and was sobbing immensely to which no nurses or staff came to check on me.

I was given a CAT scan and was told it would take 45 minutes for results. I was left out in the waiting room for 3 hours in extreme pain without anyone checking on me or giving me anything. An IV was still in my arm this whole time while I was not even hooked up to anything.

After continuing to beg for answers and at least some kind of pain relief. I was told the hospital could not help me and was given pain medication at time of discharge. To which I had to ask for referrals to doctors who could.

I work in the substance abuse field and it is very clear why we have a drug problem. This hospital dismissed my pain and then gave me a dose of pain medication before I left. This is clearly dismissing the patient and just ignoring their problem. To which I woke up in immense pain again this morning.

Please do better. This was an awful experience.
