Fantastic care from a great team. Arrived by ambulance to the ER after a serious ski collision. ER team kept my wife informed constantly as I was under their care. Was then hospitalized for the next 48 hours. Wonderful facilities and staff. Special thanks to my trauma doc’s, Dr’s Lee and Otto, Runs Lauren, Samantha & Jessica, the tech’s Cody, Corey, Matthew, Scottie & Alli. Thanks to the therapy team getting me back on my own, respiratory Whitney, PT Isabella and OT Dana.

Excellent care provided by Dr Adler and his team. My girlfriend had sliced open her hand resulting in a deep wound. Cleaning of the wound, the stitches, and the splint use to stabilize the stitches for all excellently done and everyone was very nice and knowledgeable.

Took my son to the ER this am for low O2 and fever. Didn’t have to wait. The RN that assessed him first was great. He was very personable and put O2 on him as soon as he saw his O2 was actually low. He was a 40-50ish male, but I can’t remember his name. He was amazing throughout the entire visit- keeping us informed. Then, Dr. Sharp came in and validated my concerns and assessed my kid. He ordered necessary testing and came back when resulted. He was very professional and personable. The RT, Matt? Was also very thorough and friendly. As an ER NP myself, I have very high standards (especially when my kid is involved) and this visit exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making a non-pleasant experience as good as it could possibly be.

Went to St Anthony’s in Frisco on Christmas Day with an upper arm injury I got skiing. The staff at the front desk and the nurses were nice enough but the doctor was just terrible. Dr Erik Adler saw me for all of five seconds said “let’s x-ray it” and left. After the x-ray tech (who was extremely helpful and seemingly caring) came in and took the x-rays I sat there and waited for over two hours. At that point a nurse came in with my discharge papers and said I was good to go. Nobody discussed the X-ray results with me or the possibility of muscle or tendon injury. Never saw the doctor again, just a terrible experience and it really seemed like they just didn’t care. Don’t go here if you have any other options. The Minute Clinic at CVS would probably give you better care.

St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco gets 5 stars from me for their timeliness (zero wait time through the Emergency Department), sense of urgency, competence, and high quality care. They ordered all of the testing I needed in the ED and on the floor when I was admitted. The staff went above and beyond offering quality care and treatment. They also ordered all of the appropriate follow up services for me. After I left the hospital I received calls from every single referral. Highly recommend. And a huge thank you to them!

Update: My post op with my doctor in the Denver area has shown that my surgery at St Anthony only addressed the urgent issue/pain, and not the long term that caused it, so I'm going through it again. I suspect this to be due to me not having the information to advocate for myself properly, and the doctor not prioritizing my input/request. I don't have any complications from surgery at St Anthony, but I do feel frustrated and slighted.

Their thorough, empathetic care led to them quickly identifying what was wrong and creating a plan for resolution that I was comfortable with. Everything was efficient and done with kindness. The bill isn't crazy either - I was at the ER from 11:30pm-2am, and in the hospital from 2am-5pm, with laparoscopic surgery, and it's looking like it'll end up totalling to about $2k with insurance. I wish I knew the name of my night nurse, she was so helpful and understanding. Dr Cox was my surgeon, she did a great job!

I have been to this ER and have interacted with Julie the nurse both times. She is extremely snarky and unprofessional and today implied my best friend could get arrested for accidentally hitting a nurse from her bad gag reflex. My friend rarely goes to the doctor and this traumatized her from returning. Julie made sure to inform us about a mental patient she got deported and tried to scare us when we were already scared. When I was a patient last week for suicidality, she was cold and dismissive and made my situation worse. Also today, Tracy Sawzack implied that my friend was only in the hospital in search of narcotics when she was in extreme pain and wanted to know all of her options. Only nice people we have met there are Security Guard Sam and the guy who did my friends CT today. I am not sure where I will go if I get hurt, considering I no longer feel safe at this hospital.

A great place to go for the inevitable skiing accident. The staff was excellent, particularly when you get out of the emergency room and upstairs to the trauma center. The rooms were nice and large.
The food was bad and they were out of 70% of their menu despite no snow at all affecting the roadways. It still tasted good during my first meal after the accident.
