I mean this when I say, this was quite literally the most efficient, pleasant ER experience I’ve ever had. I came in with some significant burns to my chest and torso (pain was there but bearable enough to be ready to wait, considering it’s the ER and all) checking in was smooth, vitals 10 minutes later, triage 30 minutes later, and taken back in another 5 minutes. Now I understand burns can take priority over some cases so I may have been pushed through faster, but still very quick considering. Trey whom escorted me back was uplifting and happy. Both my P.A and nurse were comforting and quick and all within 3 hours, I’m treated + bandaged and pain free. To the entire staff on 1/23/25 around 6pm, thank you!!

Unless you are physically injured with blood and broken bones or can’t breath.. DO NOT GO HERE. They will sit you in the waiting room, get all their tests that add up your bill done, while you sit in a waiting room chair. It will be 3+ hours before you are actually seen and given a private room. Just left here with my girlfriend who likely has Norovirus. Whilst in said waiting room area she is bent over crying in pain trying not to vomit everywhere for 3 hours before we decided to leave because even then…they could not give us an estimate of when we’d be seen rather told us there were a lot of emergency vehicles coming in the back so it could be a while. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Tampa general. This place is a joke.

This was one of the most degrading experiences I have ever had at a medical facility. The ER doctor was dismissive, condescending and did not listen to a word I said. I was treated as an inconvenience. I felt like I was an object on an assembly line. The lack of human decency was almost suffocating. Please do not go to this ER. There are many other options in St. Pete and there are good doctors out there. Do not go here.

If you are unlucky enough to need emergency services, but lucky enough to be asked which hospital you prefer, I recommend St. Anthony's.
After the "causal" interview & prompt MRI of my head, I was cleaned up and sutured, observations/interactions with staff members were made, and I was released.
I felt very comfortable that I was NOT concussed based on the professionalism and expertise I perceived during my visit.

ST Anthony's has always been our go to ER with all my elderly father's medical issues, but after today's visit, it will be a huge struggle to go back. Staff is usually responsive, helpful and caring so I'm not sure if it was a day of different staff, change in management or what, but the opposite was true. Crying and doubled over in pain, it was an hour of my 83 year old disabled father doubled over in pain crying in the lobby before he was triaged. We asked for a blanket, and despite a positive response, one was never brought. We asked for help to the restroom, but nobody came and he soiled himself (which he has NEVER done) He has been a patient there for over a decade and never received this level of care. Watching nurses and staff with nothing to do fail to even acknowledge his wailing, requests for help, and subsequent release of his bowels was too painful to watch. If it wasn't for the one tattooed nurse who showed care and a bit of a sense of urgency once he got back to a room, I think my mother would have had him transported to Tampa General.

Just walked out of the ER after waiting 3 hours and not being seen. Was told it wouldn't be long but watched them take people after people and me not being called. I am having chest pains and my blood pressure was 181/94 their triage. What do people have to do lay down and die in there. The worst hospital I have ever been to.

I came from Windmoor hospital because i have shortness of breath, and dizziness. I arrived via Sunstar at around 8PM, its 10:23 now and im still sitting in the lobby. When i ask about my situation, its a lot of i dont knows, maybes, and ifs apparently. No solid answer. I get yall can be busy, but i guess ill struggle to breathe in your lobby, while im already feeling suicidal. Thanks St.Anthonys for "helping" ☠️☠️. Largo Main would have had me in and out within an hour 🤣🤣

Went into the ED on Saturday because my drink had been spiked. Walked into an empty ER, still waited an hour to be placed in a room.
Then waited in the room for another hour while we listened to nurses laughing and chatting in the corridor. They then told me that they don't test for anything besides marijuana and speed. I didn't even get an IV.
Then waited another hour for someone to check us out. It took us trying to walk out so that I could at least get some water for someone to notice us.
Stay away from this place.
