Security intentionally delayed me 15 minutes from entering because I rode to the ER on a bike and their supervisor was outside.

I locked up to a bench, which I’ve done literally a dozen times before, and security told me it’d be removed if I didn’t wait. They eventually brought out a heavy, horribly ineffective bike rack that my bike doesn’t fit into. When I said that, they responded “we did this for you”

If I drove my car I’d get free Valet parking, but if someone rides a bike they treat you like a second class citizen.

This place is a mix bag. I am really trying to be considerate, there are people in this facility that genuinely care and go above and beyond. Then again there are some that don't care and are just trying to get you off their faces. There are some as well that combine being incompetent and don't care. At the end of the day you have to emphasize customer service since other patients can easily consider other facilities. I don't want this to be a rant but there is definite areas of attention for improvement.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED I WENT TO St. Joseph Hospital Orange Emergency Care Center
the nurses are very unprofessional they use very bulgar words to one another & have no respect of how they talk to the patients. When they put the needle on my arm my blood was coming out of the cracked syringe that they used on me according to them, they didn’t know the syringe was faulty after I asked them to remove the syringe and put a new one all the nurses attending me were giving me very bad attitude and making sarcastic comments to one another that made me feel very unsafe & uncomfortable due to there behavior & lack of attention I had to keep getting up to ask for updates on my results I went in at 9pm & got released at 2am but before that the nurse already had my papers & made me wait 2 hours more I am very unsatisfied & disappointed on the way I was treated by the nurses The lack of kindness & poor Communication also when I had to use the restroom a mainly nurse was the one to start talking really bad & disrespectful about me when I walked in the restroom when I got out I asked her to repeat what she had mention to the other nurses she got really red & had nothing to say she decided to just say I thought you needed an interpreter & walked away I told her no I didn’t & I told her that wasn’t what you said when I walked in the restroom so she just decided to walk away because she made that up it’s sad to say but these nurses act like little teenagers make the hospital look like a high school. I have videos & pictures but I’ll only be sharing some & just now I still have a headache & all because of the way they attend me I’m afraid to go back to that hospital because I didn’t get the care & attention I needed I should have felt safe not scared

I visited the ER seeking help for chronic pain, only to leave feeling worse—both physically and emotionally. Upon arrival, I explained that I was dealing with severe chronic pain and requested that any medication suggested by the doctor be administered via IV rather than through an injection directly into the muscle. This request was made due to previous bad experiences with other methods of administration. Unfortunately, my request was declined.

When the nurse administered the injection, the pain was so unbearable that I cried out loud. I felt the blood running down my shoulder, which was both alarming and deeply distressing. The nurse left me with a large bruise on my left arm, and blood stained my hospital gown and bed sheets. Instead of finding relief, I was put in even more pain, leaving me feeling humiliated and helpless.

To make matters worse, the doctor never once asked me to rate or describe my pain level, which is a basic and essential part of providing adequate treatment. Then, adding to my frustration, my prescription was never called into the pharmacy. It took three days to finally get my medication, leaving me to endure unnecessary suffering in the meantime.

This experience was deeply disappointing and
has shaken my trust in the ER as a place of care and relief. All I wanted was compassionate, effective help, but instead, I was met with negligence, unnecessary harm, and heightened suffering.

Went to ER dr was extremely rude. Unprofessional. Said I would never heal. When I gone here before I’ve had other drs and they did actual checking and I healed and yes I had something. He was rude and disregarded what I said. I understand there was a lot of people in er but that is not an excuse to be rude.

This hospital was founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ. But it’s controlled by Satan and his demons. The nuns were, scammed, hoodwinked. Now the hospital is run like a profit generating business. That pays its CEO over $10 million dollars a year!!! How about sharing that big pie with the people who actually earned it by sweat of their brow. Healing the sick just like Jesus Christ commanded to his followers.

Personally I think they should change the name to Morning Star or St. Luci’s.
Just thinking out loud.

Either me or someone in my family has been to this ER several times, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The doctors and staff have always been professional and compassionate. The wait times have always been appropriate for the medical issues I have been there for. For emergency medical care, my first choice is always St. Joseph Hospital.

Myself and several family members have been cared for at the St. Joseph ER in Orange, CA over the past 10 years, and none of us have had anything but completely positive experiences. Yes, sometimes we’ve had to wait a few hours, but that’s to be expected no matter where you go. The EXCELLENT quality of care we have received from their nursing and medical staff is what makes St. Joseph my first choice anytime we need emergency and/or surgical care. They listen carefully to us, they consistently arrive at correct diagnoses, and they do a fantastic job of making us feel cared for and comfortable in stressful situations. Even after Providence came on board, the consistency of care has remained steady.
