St Louise Hospital : Emergency Room - Gilroy, California

I came into the ER via ambulance, I had blacked out face first in the guitar center parking lot, where I wasn’t coherent until I was in a room and on a IV. The staff was very kind, they performed several test where I’d be diagnosed with Cancer 11 days later. I would’ve known until it was too late, I was fortunate enough to have caught it with the help of St.LH

I can’t remember the names of anyone who helped me last night, but I am so grateful for everyone in this ER! I sprained my ankle yesterday and after 8 hours of walking it off hoping it would get better, i wound up at St. Louise. i had never been here prior to last night and i didn’t know what to expect because it’s common knowledge that 99% of emergency rooms are a nightmare and you wind up spending 10+ hours just to get checked in. Not at St. Louise though! I was in and out in under 2 hours. checked in, evaluated, x-rayed, told EXACTLY what was wrong with my ankle, was given crutches, and had my foot put in a splint all within those two hours. The team here is just absolutely amazing and so caring and kind. i only came here because it was the nearest E.R. from my sister’s house whom i was visiting after the whole incident, but i’m so glad and fortunate that i came here because i have NO doubt that if i’d gone to urgent care, kaiser, valley med, or wherever else, i’d still be in the E.R. running off 3 hours of sleep. thank you guys so much!!!!

Ok..so I'm here because I started slurring my words...they took me right in...hooked me up and starting monitoring instantly. Tests were ran and I was told every step of the way what was going on. I was checked on regularly and felt really well taken care of. Ran all test to make sure I did t have a stroke and we'll...I don't wish anybody to get sick..but if you do...you're in good hands here!

Visiting the area from San Diego and had to take my dad to the ER on 4th of July. The staff who all had to be away from their family tonight, greeted us with smiles and were completely helpful and welcoming in every way possible. The nurses, doctor, phlebotomist, X-ray tech, and EKG staff were all phenomenal. I can’t express my gratitude enough to these wonderful people who took care of my dad as if he were their father.

There were impatient people here tonight and I am appalled that people have lost their patience and kindness to healthcare workers who are trying their best to help everyone in the order of severity.

You will receive what you put out in life. Please be kind if you come.

Went in with chest pains- it looked pretty sketch, but had quick emergency care. EKG, chest X-ray and blood test all from the emergency personal room I was placed in. I was out of there within a couple hours. If it looked a nicer when I walked in I would have felt better, but service and nurses/doctors were friendly and professional Ave very attentive.

If I could have left it no stars I would have. This is THE WORST HOSPITAL I have ever been to! My friend went in for HEART & CHEST pain that he keeps having over the years and went to the EMERGENCY ROOM and he was there for a couple hours, had his blood drawn, and then was discharged without them even taking his blood out of the room! He was discharged with anxiety without any test on his blood to see if he really is okay. He called and asked questions of why his blood wasn't taken out of the room and the RUDE person said, "Why didn't you ask any questions?" Excuse me but the last I checked it's their job to run tests and find answers. I cannot believe they would discharge someone with heart and chest pain without any blood test to test it. What a joke. Sorry excuse for a hospital.

i came in with chest pain, they got me back right away, did an ekg, blood samples, a urine sample, a chest x ray and gave me medicine for the pain all within an hour of me walking in the door. they were also very nice 🙂
