My 5 year old went Infor a procedure and I was very pleased with this hospital and its staf!! We were in the pediatric surgery area, and everyone was amazing . They explained everything clearly and did everything they could to make her feel comfortable!

They have food and coffee on site along with close parking. Thank you Sunrise for a great experience and for helping this mom put her worries at ease!

Usually I bring pediatric Ptā€™s to the ER and have always had a good experience. Recently Iā€™ve had to bring both of my kids in and they have been amazing. Itā€™s FLU season but they took our concerns seriously and got her meds right away.

I took my 2.5 year old daughter to the ER after being sent by her doctor for a hemoglobin of 6.0. Dr Holly Owens was the one who took care of my daughter. They drew labs and placed an IV, but for some reason, they decided to never even give her a blood transfusion or an iron transfusion. The doctor never even ordered for her to receive any type of iron while in the ER. She prescribed us liquid iron and a follow-up appointment with hematology.

Anyone can do a quick google search and see how dangerous a hemoglobin of 6 is. I am a nurse and am well aware that this level indicates a transfusion. My daughter is extremely pale and low energy, her BP was 78/56 (although I checked the charts and see the nurses never charted that result, how convenient), and even has a heart murmur as a result of her low iron (per the doctor). How they could just discharge her without any treatment for her hemoglobin while in the ER is beyond me.

I would not take my kid to Sunrise Children's if Dr Holly Owens is working the ER that day. She will just dismiss you and send you to another doctor outpatient even when the situation is clearly emergent.

I had to take my 6 months old to the ER.
They were extremely professional, they did a great job screening for everything possible to tell me what is going on with my kiddo. They were kind and nice. Again, this was in the Childrensā€™ ER. There were several doctors giving me perspective on the results. Nurses were super compassionate. They provided me water, diapers and wipes for the baby.
I probably got lucky but there were absolutely no wait time. They started treating him as soon as we walked in the door.

If I could give negative stars I would. I arrived here with my daughter at 12:30pm we were like the 3rd persons here. I saw so many people that came in after us leave and be discharged. when I went up to the front to ask the eta I was told we have to take the sickest as if my daughters care wasn't important. I am 9months pregnant and have to wait even longer than expected cause they believe my daughters symptoms aren't as important. do not take you child here if you believe they health is important. cause its all based on the staffs opinion if your child is sick enough or not. very disappointed

We took her daughter about 2 weeks ago. ER is very busy but they took care of her. I understand the RSV case in NV is so high. We spent 2 days in the ER, because PICU is full, we have a small room there. She was release after 4 days. Staff are amazing, great facility. Bad timing to get hospitalized because most of the hospitals in NV is full capacity. At the end of the day, they took care of us and my baby fully recovered now. Thank you Sunrise!

Everyone has their own experiences, reading recent reviews I was hesitant but took the chance in bringing my child here. I was seen by a nurse within 5 minutes, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the doctor that came to see my daughter was so kind and knowledgeable. Many doctors I run across are ready to run to the next patient but she took her time and answered my questions and then after many, asked me if I had more she could answer. She was caring and thoughtful and all I could think was how great this entire staff was during a time where my child is feeling her worst.
