This restaurant is a paradise for Sichuan cuisine lovers! Their sauerkraut fish is simply phenomenal—packed with bold, tangy flavours and perfectly cooked fish that melts in your mouth. The steamed chicken with chili sauce was another standout, easily one of the best I’ve ever had, with tender, flavourful chicken and just the right level of spice. Even the rice was out of this world, cooked to perfection and the ideal accompaniment to the rich, flavourful dishes. The self-help roselle tea was a delightful touch, offering a refreshing complement to the meal. From start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience—highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Sichuan cuisine!

The signature fish dish was delicious whilst it was piping hot… could be a tad heavy on the palate once it cools… pls skip the prawn vermicelli,very garlicky but lacking in flavour .. but I have to say, the plain rice was a standout , u have to try it to get what I meant 😆

Happy to try this other outlet opened at Great World City. The food is consistently good here as in other branches. Only thing was that there was no tea bag for the DIY tea here that is found in the Suntec side. Not sure if they have phased out the tea bags altogether. Stand out dish is always the fish soup but the fried chicken and string beans were also deliciously good.

First time here and found the sauerkraut to be the star of the fish instead of the fish. The rice provided was also exceptional...we kept ordering the rice as we ate the fish.

Prices are pretty affordable as well. The chilled bean noodles are alright , nothing to shout about.

Will definitely head back to try their other dishes.

Regular patron of Tai Er in other outlets. Thrilled to discover a new outlet at GWC during lunch with colleagues. Atmosphere was nice, clean and bright and many tables. Service was pretty subpar considering that it's a newly opened outlet. You don't find a smiling server in there and you don't feel welcomed at all. The signature soup was rather diluted compared to the other outlets. The prawn dish with tang hoon was very bland, looked much better than it tasted. We feedback to the service staff. They changed one, a little better but still pretty tasteless.
