Just waited for four hours to be seen for vomiting/diarrhea/stomach pain, and there was no end to the wait in sight.

While I waited, I watched a paramedic dump a woman in a wheelchair in front of the women's bathroom and just leave her there. She struggled to get into the bathroom, spent a long time in there, struggled to get back out, slumped back into the chair, and then was just ignored in that awful spot, chair facing the bathroom door, for 3+ hours. She slumped over in apparent sleep for a while, still ignored. Then she woke up and started moaning. Still ignored. Finally, I asked a security guard to check on her. He didn't even speak to her, just pushed her chair to the middle of the room, and left her to moan there instead. I kept trying to get the nurses to pay attention to her and they did nothing. She kept moaning louder and louder and begged for a doctor. This went on for half an hour and nobody even glanced at her.

Finally I realized that if they were ignoring someone screaming in pain for half an hour they were never going to see me, told them to cross me off the list and give her my spot, and left, hoping that I can self-treat my own issue at home. I have never had such an awful ER experience. The lack of compassion for that woman, not to mention all the fellow patients who had to listen to her screaming unattended, was just beyond my comprehension. Absolutely unconscionable. I will never go there again.

Temple emergency room is the worst place on Earth.
Twice I went there for care and twice I walked out without receiving care.
Lack of care lack of staff lack of everything that is good.
You will literally sit in that waiting room no matter how much pain you in for hours beyond hours.
The staff don't care.
If you have a medical situation please find some other hospital to give you care because you deserve it.
Do not go to Temple for any circumstances for care.

The emergency room is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life so far, the horrible security team there need training on how to treat visitors and especially sick people coming in, we took my sick husband there and the security guard was the worst, he was referring to my adult son as "homeboy" you can't go back there, my son said I'm not your homeboy and you should keep that in the street, I'm here for my sick father. The waiting room is filthy, there was vomit on the floor of the area the patients were sitting, this was the worst experience starting with the security team.. giving this dump a 1 star is too much,

The worst emergency room I’ve ever seen in my life! My husband has and is still waiting to be seen and he arrived at 7am. It is now 1:46 on Wednesday the 23rd of October. He had surgery at temple in the Boyer building on the 11th of this month and is experiencing some pain. When he asks when will he be seen they have an attitude and or no response! Just unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. If something happens to my husband as a result of him not being seen in time. I’m suing the heck out of them!!😔

This review is based on my intake on August 5th, 2024..I am so grateful for the Emergency team at temple hospital. What they did for my children and I was so amazing. They absolutely went above and beyond to make my children feel safe, comfortable, & happy while I was there. The one thing I regret was not getting the name of everyone who was so kind to my children as I was not really feeling well and not in my right mind. However they know who they are! Thank you again for all the amazing things you all did for my children, we will never forget..It truly meant the world to us!!

Literally been sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours in excruciating pain. The staff are very dismissive and rude. Wouldn’t recommend this emergency room if you’re in serious need of help.

temple is the worst hospital i’ve ever been to they take there time laughing and talking in the halls as your sitting in pain there is always different rules and the doctors and nurses don’t even get along neither do security threatening a pregnant Minor to put your hands on her and kick her out for no reason DO BETTER Maybe if the nurses actually listened nd helped u instead of taking there time with everything and laughing it up in the halls they wouldn’t be so bad they just have to learn how to do there job properly and all there food is dirty
