Came in with my 5 month old running a 103.6 fever. They checked it, and it was 104. The doctor said to give her tylenol and motrin, luckily the nurse was passing by and she said "no she can't take that the baby is under 6 months." The doctor said "oh, yeah so just tylenol." I asked at what temperature should I bring her back? The doctor said there is no temperature. I asked another nurse that came in to give me baby medicine, and he said over 102 I should have her checked out, yet they were sending me home when it was over 102. He said we'll They aren't a pediatric so next maybe go to cooks. The out take paper they gave said her fever was 101 not true and to give her tylenol and motrin but they told me not to cause she's under 6 months.
What the hell. I just got home and my baby is still running a fever over 103 so now I'm going to cooks. Thanks for nothing. Oh and they said my insurance was rejected when I just used it earlier when scheduling a doctors appointment.

Nurse was pretty unnecessarily rude. They seemed semi competent so I'm giving it 3 stars but wow. They can allow their staff to talk to the patients any way they please and that's their choice but I'm a fairly average old lady and if they talked to me like that then they have talked to other patients as badly. We do have a choice and I know MY choice is not to use this facility again.

I do not like hospitals. I actually have tended to feel they may even make people sicker. But very early this morning I was very ill and was in need of emergency care. My boyfriend drove me and from the minute I walked in, I knew I made the right decision. My nurse was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything in a way anyone could understand but not feel spoken down to. The Doctor's manner immediately put me at ease. The department was shiney and clean. They helped a very reluctant and scared patient to feel she was in good hands. Oh and the registration lady was so sweet and efficient. Even the policeman posted in the waiting area managed to not come off as ominous but as friendly and concerned.
I feel the treatment I received was
appropriate.. I feel much better less than 24 hours later.

Nurses annoyed to have to help and elderly woman who is clearly confused and struggling

IV was RIPPED out of my arm by a different nurse and was bragging about my saying that "that was the most aggressive IV removal I've ever had" my arm and vein are now bruised

I was having severe stomach pains on a Friday night, and nothing I took would stop the pain and nausea. As I was looking up Dr offices open on Saturday, I decided to call the ER just to see if I could be seen quickly (it was 3:30am) and she said they had one patient and 12 beds, so they could get to me as soon as I arrived. It was no time until they were running tests and hooking to me an IV to relieve what was acute pancreatitis caused by gallstones. The entire nursing staff was incredible and Dr Harris was amazing, They had to send me to another hospital as they do not have a GI doctor there, and were quick to get me transferred. I would recommend these services to anyone with no hesitation.

By the time my husband gets into surgery he will be dead waiting on the surgeon to do there job. STILL WAITING FOR MY HUSBAND TO GET HOME AFTER LEAVING IN AMBULANCE WITH CHEST PAINS HE ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL AT 12AM and has not made it back home since he texted me that the doctors did an MRI on him in side a trailer like room because the hospital is small. I'm still unaware of what is going on and haven't herd back from him at all. First they said it was his gallbladder now we are unsure. We have kids why does it take this long for someone to do their jobs at a decent pace.

I just want to start off with a big thank you to all of the nurses and doctors who work here. This is honestly the first good experience I have personally had at an emergency room. Every nurse that was caring for me this morning was fabulous and very thoughtful.
My husband was in this emergency room as well and had a very pleasant experience. So with that being said this all in all is the best local emergency room you can go to. The nurses seem to love there job and the doctors really try to help you. Advise to the next patients, try not to be so mean even though you might be in pain, they will try there best to help you, let them do there job.
Again a huge thank you to all of the doctors and nurses for all of your help!

When I went for a migraine and found out I was pregnant with an iud I joked with the nurse I didn't know how that happened with the specific BC I had and he said to my face "Just because you're on birth control doesn't mean you can sleep with whoever, whenever," and not that it's anyone's business but I'd been with the same partner for a year at that point.When taking my premature daughter there for being very sick and not breathing in my arms, they said "Well have you fed her?" Then later, when taking my husband there for abdominal pain, they told him it's just in his head. If your goal is to have any level of bedside manner or actual care, Azle isn't the place to go. Since then I haven't been back no matter the urgency of the emergency because honestly they'll just make it worse. No one there cares, and they're all just there to be miserable and make a paycheck.
