I went to Huguley ER twice in 2 weeks. The first time it was decided I needed to be transferred to another hospital and was told it would happen within the hour. It took 6 hours all the while they are convincing us to not go to the hospital by private car " because you don't want to start the process all over again. It will take longer" I suspect they could bill my insurance more if we go by ambulance. The second time I was having issues with my wound vac. I had talked to triage so they knew what the issue was. We got there at 5:00. They called us back to a room at 7:05 , 5 minutes after the wound care team left for the night. No one was left that knew what they were doing so another 2 hours later, they put a large plastic band aid on it and sent us home. 4 hours and basically nothing was done and they are charging my insurance plus$150 to me for doing nothing but a band aid. All those hours waiting for nothing, all the while I'm very ill. Don't go there when you are sick as you will be worse when you leave.

Arrived at 4:00pm with what i now know was the flu with severe breathing problems and a cough that was so severe i thought i might pass out after each one. I informed staff of this but was told to wait. I waited 2 hours before initial triage. There they swabbed me for the usual flu covid strep. I was told i needed an xray of my chest. Waited another hour with still no xray and was taken back to a room. Here the doctor and nurses came by briefly and i explained how much pain i was in. I was told by both doctor and nurses they would give me something for pain. Another hour goes by still no pain meds. I was taken to xray FINALLY, then had to come back to room and wait another hour for results. I was given pain meds only minutes before leaving. The doctors and nurses this evening were very inattentive and emotionless of patient needs. Normally i do not complain but i felt i must this time. It took 4.5 hours to be told i had flu and a couple prescriptions. Wont be returning to this location for a while!

Had a very good experience, 6 weeks of pneumonia. Everyone was kind to me, took great care of me and I’m starting to feel better. Also received a letter today bc I have no insurance that a charity is going to help cover some of the cost. So extremely thankful for this and I filled it out without even knowing. So kind of Texas health to help those that don’t have insurance.

Huguley employees have been courteous and friendly. The Huguley Cancer Center has a good system. The Physician time is limited but Dr. will spend extra as needed. Staff is friendly! It is hard at times to reach the Huguley group because all calls go through Ft Worth and they are very busy and can be “curt” once a call takes up to 20 minutes to be answered. This is very frustrating! Thank you, Judie Miles. ❤️

Staff at the hospital because my child had your name on herself and the nurse told me that if I was you mom I would leave him like that. Both nurses rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there, and they treated him as such. I asked the nurse when we first got there if they were going to give him fluids, she told me no, so I ended up calling my cousin who is a registered nurse and she said they have to give him fluids because he Dehydrated, they knew he was dehydrated. Before my cousin can get back with me. She came in with some fluids for my son. My mom had high praises for your staff and hospital. But I will never bring my child or tell anyone about your hospital if a nurse does not like dealing with people then There In the wrong career. I was very unhappy with the visit there. Maybe they used to be good nurses, but that is not what they showed on that night. I had to worry about my son and how they treated him. I came to your hospital to get help I didn’t need smart remarks and I didn’t need bad attitudes.

Dr. Awaida was very concerned ,compassionate and prompt to get my treatment started. She spent time with me and heard my entire story which I really appreciated. My nurse Whitney was amazing!! Painless IV stick and she kept coming in to check on me, informed me each step of the way of what the plan of attack was, and kept things moving smoothly. I felt safe and cared for by them both.
The ONLY negative aspect of my visit happened in CT when they had me sliding into the tube. My IV tubing was caught on the gurney and almost ripped the IV out of my arm before I could get them to stop. I had to yell loudly and whistle before he stopped the table from moving.
Overall, I cannot say enough good things about my treatment in the Huguley ED and will certainly recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks again to all!!

This week, my wife visited the ER three times with worsening symptoms, including persistent vomiting, nausea, chest pain, weight loss, and irregular bleeding, yet each visit resulted in a completely different diagnosis and no resolution. The lack of communication and professionalism among staff was unacceptable, with the evening nurse on the last visit giving us information that directly contradicted the doctor and making us feel punished for asking questions about her condition. Despite blood tests and imaging, critical symptoms were dismissed, antibiotics were prescribed without confirmation of infection, and important follow-up tests like a pelvic ultrasound or echocardiogram were not performed. We left each visit in utter confusion, with no clear guidance or consistent care, culminating in my wife being discharged with pending blood tests and no resolution to her condition. This experience has caused significant distress and has eroded our trust in this hospital, and we will never return. Clearer communication, consistent care, and empathy are desperately needed to prevent such unacceptable treatment in the future.

I the best experience at Huguley hospital! The staff took very good care of me! They kept an eye on me and got me a room asap! Ranch was one of the nurses, he was great! They all were just wonderful.
All the names I don’t remember but, Molly, Dustin, Shane was from X-ray! I couldn’t have ask for a better staff that evening.
