Doctor, staff and facility are nice. Things were running pretty quickly the first hour and a half. Once my IV was in, my nurse completely disappeared. I Asked a couple nurses for help and they all said they’ll get someone. 2 hours later a different nurse came to remove the IV unit and 1.5 hours later they discharged me….there wasn’t even a large crowd or wait. Why did this visit take almost 6 hours

I walked in, explained my symptoms to the doctor and nurse, outside publicly where everyone could hear my information. Only to be examined by the doctor who took bloodwork, my Covid test also outside publicly. I proceeded to ask if I could get a room or a bed. They stated the room was only for old people and people with oxygen tanks. Now I’m here sitting with an IV in my arm, waiting in a chair. The male doctor didn’t seem concerned about my symptoms, The female doctor she didn’t change her gloves after she took my bloodwork, proceeded to fix my IV. On top, a white woman came in complaining of similar symptoms, received a nice comfortable bed to lay on and privacy to further discuss her symptoms.
Now I have an Iv in my arm that hurts badly, was told I can’t take it out until I leave. This hospital went downhill, racial disparity regarding healthcare is real!!!

Wonderful experience in every way. This is one of the best health care ER’s I have seen. Every interaction with every staff member was great. The Doctors are very knowledgeable, they explain what they are going to do and when it’s going to happen, they share what they think, discuss your results and your diagnosis. Communication in this facility is awesome and clear. They follow-up after you have left.

The service exceeds 5 star, it’s Michelin star quality. If you have a choice of ER this is where you want to be.

This emergency room is fantastic! The hospital is spotlessly clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Johnson was particularly impressive—she was knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me. I highly recommend this emergency room. A big shoutout to Dr. Johnson and Sam, the amazing nurse!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Emergency Department at NYU Langone Health—Cobble Hill.

My husband and I went in late at night on October 30th, around midnight. My husband was very sick, with a high fever of 39.5°C (103°F), wheezing in his lungs, and a severe cough. From the very beginning, the security team greeted us in a friendly manner, offered a mask, and guided us where to go. At the reception, they politely asked for our information, collected all necessary details, and directed us to the emergency room. We were immediately given a bed, and soon after, an assistant, Jerry Cadet, approached us to ask about my husband’s symptoms and how he was feeling. After gathering all the information, nurse Astrid came to assist us. She was kind, professional, and worked quickly to set up an IV and give my husband his medication.

A little later (time flew by), they took my husband for a chest X-ray, which took less than 5 minutes. Right away, Jerry informed us that my husband had bacterial pneumonia, explained everything thoroughly, and set up an IV with antibiotics, which almost instantly relieved my husband’s condition. Later, Dr. Jerry Lee came by and explained in great detail what the illness was, how it would be treated, what medications my husband would need to take, and how long recovery would take ❤️‍🩹.

We stayed in the emergency room until the IV was finished, and afterward, they gave us all the necessary documents, and we headed home.

We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at the Emergency Department at NYU Langone Health—Cobble Hill for the care and attention they gave us. Thank you so much for your help!

Great communication, care, and kindness made this such a good (circumstances aside) ER visit. Efficient and easy on the intake/admin side, which is always a plus. The facility itself is clean and well-appointed, but the standout is the staff. A huge thanks to the team that looked after my toddler today, especially Dr. Buchan, Olivia, Kasia, and all the others who helped us out. You made us feel safe and cared for, and we are grateful for all the support.

I rarely take time to write reviews but I am so impressed with the care I received at this NYU Langone facility that I had to do so. I have received care at this facility a few times, and every time I am seen almost instantaneously. The nurses are friendly, kind, and caring, and given the guaranteed shift changes, business, and demands of an ED, are relatively accessible. Where this facility shines is its doctors- every time I have received care, the doctors have spoken to me respectfully, explaining my condition and diagnosis thoroughly, and pausing for my follow-up questions or concerns. The ED doctors have seen me as quickly as 3 minutes. Drs. Linsky and Lee were particularly kind and thorough. Dr. Linsky sat with the girl being treated next to me and took the time to teach her about EKGs. He sat and taught me about my condition as well, including personal anecdotes to promote better understanding. Dr. Lee answered my questions for almost 20 minutes. All of this is unheard of for an American ED. Yet the cherry on top? The facilities are stunning- brand new, always clean, and secure. I hope this facility can keep it up this track record- because it is truly a gem in downtown BK.

Truly a 10/10 experience. I came in at 10:20am and from the moment I was registered in the system everyone was incredibly helpful. They quickly took vitals, scans, bloodwork and turned all results around in 40 minutes. Doc Tim Fong was so warm, tentative, and reassuring it almost felt like it wasn't an ER visit. The nurse who took my blood was very careful and listened to my needs. I left at 11:45am happy and confident that I was properly taken care of. Thank you NYU Staff and team!
